Anakore, or Ethan Roth, is a roughly handsome man in his thirties. His hair is shaggy and brown, but cropped short for comfort, and a permanent stubble covers his cheeks. He gives an air of relaxedness and a grin is never far away, though many think him grumpy when they misjudge his apathetic nature for gloominess. His eyes have a tendency to sparkle when he is talking about love or in the vicinity of a woman he likes. Anakore's a muscular man, his body well trained from years of practice as a warrior, and he is both nimble and resilient. His arms are, wrist to shoulder, covered with tattoos of stylysed battle scenes, from his years as a gladiator.
Anakore is most usually seen wearing his blue jacket with the 6-star badge of the Knights of the Cerulean Stars, of whom he is the Captain, or a snug chainshirt and a visored helmet. He often wears a heavy, swirling blue cloak. His hands are covered by a pair of ornate gloves, in an unknown material. On the back of each gloved hand is a set gemstone, a bright red gem on the left hand, a swirling and icy blue gemstone on the right.
Anakore is a lover of weaponry of all kinds, and has fought with most every weapon at one point during his life. Currently he favors a massive glaive and the Daisho, or Long and Short, a seemingly matched Katana and Wakizashi. The weapons seemingly matchthough their make very different. The katana is highly ornamented, with an asp surrounding the mark of a katana, on the backdrop of an orchid, eteched on the hilt. It is razor sharp, and even in the heat of battle never seems to be bloodied. The wakizashi is high quality, bearing the word "Lyonsbane", though it bears no further ornamentation. He has recently come into possession of a curious shortblade with unknown properties.
Anakore has often been seen with the following weapons during his life: quarterstaff, scythe, double axe, two-bladed sword, dire mace, greataxe and bastard sword. He loves variety.
Anakore carries a remarkably slender, but powerful longbow, a gift from a dead lover, or so he says. When inspected closely he bears several rings when his hands are bare. One a sigil of rank, one an old crest from his hometown of Norwick.
