  While battle seemed to rage underground in the wood a silent group of scouts from Peltarch took the offensive above ground. Starting at the spot the others had gone in after the bandits, they circled out through wood like ghosts. Once they pinpointed the gnoll's positions they triggered their ambushes. Through the near environs and then deeper into the wood, death stalked unseen. Then into the caves themselves they went, leaving a message written in death and blood in their wake. Then as quietly as they came they dissapeared.

  _Battle rang out in the pass near the Legion tower. Though it seemed odd that it would be so noisy with just one man facing the Legion. Apparently uninvited guests popped in and caused havoc amongst the Legion and onlookers. The obvious culprit being Jay to most, and he was attacked right off by the outraged Legion, the man himself looking caught off guard by the whole ordeal. Defending himself, he nearly downed General Grag… but was too slow by the onslaught he received from the rest of the Legion. Soon he was dead. The gnomes and bandits, however, did not stop their attack on the Legion tower. Many perished from both sides, and it was nothing but pure chaos..._

Dietrick returns later with a pack horse and two dragoon guards and attempt to transport the charred corpses back to the silver valley where they will be laid inside the temple. The following is then arranged by Dietrick: 1. The Yondalla faithful priests are asked to examine to charred corpses to ascertain if they were hins. 2. A 'speak with dead' spell will be performed by Councilor of Faith Theaon or another priest. 3.
