  tala leaves a hide tacked to a tree not far from oreths Khaya was dragged to a crystal. She was not given a choice and barely escaped. As a woman, a mother and a healer of some small ability I can speak to the loss of conscious thought by the crystals. Lilin was a nursing mother she left her infant son. The physical pain from her milk was not enough to drive her to remembering her child. Over three months later Lilin woke up and remembered her son. If the cyrstals do not leave you thinking of other things then how do you explain a new first time mother forgetting she had a child. In the face of such I must conclude that the love of the cyrstals out weights the love of a mother for her child until such time as it is convient for the crystals. This is truely heart breaking and many of my dearest friends are lost to the corruption of the crystals. I hope some day a cure can be found. Until that time I would not risk an innocent life being fed to a crystal.

  Magistrate Barrim reminds the guard, farscouts and defenders that leaving the gates open is not an offence, and may not be fined under any circumstances. Leaving the gates open is not a reference to endangerment laws, and should not be interpreted as such. "…..Fines are to be collected on behalf of the city by guardsmen for city based offences, or magistrates in the case of more serious offences according to the statute in the public domain...." _ he is heard to remind them. " We do not have "close the gates on pain of death laws" like norwick tried to enforce in the past, our laws are the product of a disciplined and exemplorarly legal and senatorial process" The Magistrate welcomes the citizens comments, and welcomes him maintaing watch on our cities security. He directs anyone who is a long standing citizen, with no criminal record, and a proven advocate of law and order to address any applications to the honoured guard to the Captain of the Guard - Vick Dunderstone (PM to me (Peltarch ADM) or Linah - SDM) will do.

  Mirkali, known by many as one of the older Cariboo squire veterans, and has even been rumoured to call upon Cariboo for help in ressurection, usually flaunting of his green helm being original, with naturally green antlers, is often times eyeing Myth a bit, when accompanying him, he'll usually correct Myth in the stories he tells of adventures past, or even go as far as to correct his preachings of faith. Often times, when wearing his own Cariboo helm, he looks at the new squires with a bit of revoltion, and mumbles about needing a vision from Cariboo This is, of course, when he's actually seen in Peltarch
