  Poo drat darn bugger bollox… Anyway, I'm Juggernaut1981. Long time PnP Player and DM. World Builder. System Builder... Used to work with Rei Jin on a convention-sized PnP D&D3.5 World. Long Live 3.5... I suppose at some point I'll stop playing wizards... when they get rid of d4s... Or I'll get in and play some rogues... I don't think I've played a fighter in years (I might do it again... possibly just build a machine gun with HPs...) But anyway, feel free to IM me, pester me or otherwise contact me. I'll be online at various times.... and may just vanish... My wife once cast a powerful Dominate Person spell on me and I can't really resist commands when they're issued...

  Thank you all for the warm welcome. I was thinking of streaming content to fellow adventurers through Melody's Entertainment Portal. The homepage has a "Current Performance Information" link which takes you here: http://www.recklesslemming.com/melody-safiyah/audio/current-performance.htm When playing in town or adventuring out in the wilderness and striking up with a tune to lift spirits, anyone interested in hearing that particular performance could stream it through a link on that page. Changing the performance piece and the listed information between "shows" is simple enough and allows for music, oral tales, dramatic readings, etc. The performance of any particular piece would have to come as the result of "practicing" various "parts/snippits" to allow her to play/perform something in its entirety. The audio files are small and stream at 135kbs so they're not network intensive.   A portrait probably wouldn't cost an exhobitant amount anyway, unless the artist you're getting to do it is famous (or likes to think they are), and fortunately for us (and less fortunately for artists), fame does not equal talent. So you should be able to get one done at a reasonable price.

  At what level does ranger get the toughness feat? I didn't see the exact level noted in the build notes or in the downloads section.

  I think the only animal familiar that can speak per PnP rules is the raven (a nod to Edger Allen Poe, I suspect). Of course, the regular feat for familiars only has small animals and such, not pixies, panthers, mephits, etc. I looked up the Improved Familiar feat. It doesn't give any indication that the listed familiars there would gain the ability to speak, but many of them already can speak. So, I would say, unless it's a raven or a creature already capable of language, it cannot speak. ((Note: As of right now, this is my opinion and not necessarily a DM ruling.))

  As one of those people who has been here for years, Welcome!!! Don't worry about messing up, everyone does at some point, yes even the DMs, I was click killed once instead of a n overpowered monster that was accidentally spawned. xD Also NWN is very forgiving on connection speeds, you shouldn't have too much trouble with Dial Up. See you in game!

  Whenever a DM gives out alignment points, he gets everyone to drop party. That way, not only do you not know who got what, but it can't affect others when you get points.
