  One more N.B. Since I've noticed alot of candidates are making "speeches", which aren't rallies and don't really fit into any of the other catagories, I've added "General Speech" to the list of campaign activities. It reflects the cost of promoting your speeches enough that people know who the hells you are, that you're speaking for a reason, and gives them some encouragement to actually listen to you. I can charge retroactively for speeches already given, and you can assume if you aren't paying to promote speeches you are giving, people won't bother listening as they don't know who you are/why they should care and have other things to to. Promotion money means they'll know in advance of you getting up on a barrel, and will actually make the time to listen/attend etc. Again, please make it clear in your posts if something is a Speech, so I both know to factor in NPCs being affected by it, as well as costs for your campaign.

  Lord Parsley Tealeaf- A handsome hin with a silver tongue. He is a cousin of Ginger Tealeaf, and the two are on excellent terms. He is married to Peppermint Tealeaf, and has one son, Marshmallow. He is a well known ambassador of Silver Valley, and is a member of the ruling council in the Valley. He claims to have strong ties with multiple people of notice around Narfell, and perhaps even has contacts into strange realms far to the south west. He smokes a pipe and grows the finest pipeweed in Narfell.

  Symone approaches Ludo after one of his shows and request audience for a few questions. I noticed that many of the candidates seem to be part of organisations of some sort, but there was no listing of any affiliations for you. Do you feel that this may affect your campaign positively or did you simply wish to remain unaffiliated to prevent voters from judging you absed on who you represent? You seem to be well skilled with amgical light shows, do you feel that this skill will be something that will make your job as a senator easier, or is it just for show. I noticed you said you were a self-less hero, yet you wish to offer autographs which I see as a contrary to your statement, will you comment on that or is it a campaign secret to improve yoru standing? Do you feel that as a gnome, your popularity among the majority human populace will be compromised? Thank you for your time.

  Frequently walking to and from the still ongoing reparations at the Ferret, Sabre too seems disturbed by the unusually gruesome murder. Ravens still seem drawn to the site of the body's discovery, as scores of the eerie, starved looking birds frequently settle on the Ferret's as of yet unfinished rooftop.

  ((And the OOC post to accompany this new beginning; Welcome to B9 Peltarch! Your DMs for the city are now myself, Zyphlin, DrDreadlock and Coaan and we've got plenty of stories lined up for the start of the build that'll hopefully be kicking off right away in the holiday season and the new year. The Peltarch I envision is one with thousands of people in it, and various factions who all interact with each other in different ways. Sometimes the fact that there are so many NPCs and NPC groups in the city can be a little bit daunting for players who want to get involved, but I want to ensure that its my goal to use these groups as a means for involvement rather than an obstacle. The great thing about the City is that even small actions, when carefully thought out, can have impressive results. Obviously one of the first plots we will be running is the election plot. More on that in a later post, though I will point out that for those PCs who don't think they have a chance at being a Senator yet, there are a myriad of other jobs and positions within the city that one can get involved with that are great fun (many of which have been used in the past as a path to greater things by enterprising players). When in doubt about ways to get involved in something going on in the city, getting a job in the city or especially if YOU have any ideas for things you would like to do or see happening in the City, don't hesitate to PM me!
