Rumors spread about a paladin hin named Merum fought a drunk in the gates of Jiyyd. Both were severly wounded but it is said that Merum had lost the fight.

Celdir Nemilador can be seen leaving Jiyyd, through the gates to the east. He seems sad, and won't return for many months, to be certain. Rumours say that he is heading back to Waterdeep…

A great fair was held at the old Alliance Arms Inn. Following an archery competition, a cage fight and a battle game came the largest auction in years. Many thousands of gold changed hands, all in favor to auctionmaster Nico Black, of course.

"I've never seen anythin' like it in me life." Bob lifts his mug to his lips and takes a sip. "I was just outta my place for my morning ale.."
"And an orc strolls right through the gates! One of the huge ones - 'destroya' is what Grag calls 'em."
"Walks right in, past the Legionnaires and the watch…" Bob takes another big gulp. "Goes on in to the store and buys some food from Kurt!!"
"An' then, an' I think this is the best part - 'e goes an leans against the well an' sits down to have a little picnic! By this time, there's a crowd jus' starin' at 'em.
Someone asked 'em what race 'e was an' 'e said 'half-orc' and they all believed 'em!
Then 'e jus' got up and left the gates." Bob is on his fifth or sixth ale and it is only noon. "I know it ain't safe living 'round orcs... but..." And he drains the mug, calling for another. He looks at it for a moment, wondering if it something in the water.

The redhead, known as Zed, Cee or Red, spreads the tale of how some black evil people snuck into Jiyyd and apparently tried to steal some sword but how they didn't like each other. And General Grag didn't like either and just chopped them to pieces and then the blond priestess talked with one of the half people and it answered and it spoke even though he was dead. And then there was many, many, really lots more of the dead and they came walking upon Jiyyd and they charged them and broke them to small pieces and then ghosts stepped forth out of that bone dust and they looked terrible but that was when the sun rose and tore the ghosts apart and their screaming was terrible and it still rings in her ears.

Many mornings, the dawn rises over the plains revealing semicircles of orcish dead. Most look to have been killed by single arrows protruding from skulls, necks, and eyesockets. On more than one orcish forehead are carved elvish words of curse.

_After a talking in the commons Wog can be seen walking off to the Leigon halls, tears streaming down his armor and hasnt been seen since
Those nearby say that something bought upon the talking of love and this remeinded him of his failed relationships. He said that love was overrated and that all it casues is heartache before leaving_

Rumours travel across Jiyyd of an alliance between the Legion and the Collective, though these may not be entirely true.

Belade can often be seen just west of Jiyyd, practicing with her new greatsword. She takes care not to do this too close to the road, and stops if any curious people come too close, not wanting to risk hitting them. Those who speak elven, can hear her pray or sing to Sune, and may very well be surprised by the words.
<e>For Sune's love I wield this sword
For Sune's beauty I hold the line
With her passion I smite the wicked
And in their blood her face does shineThose who don't know elven just hear elven singing, though they might be able to make out that it has something to do with Sune
Any hobgoblins who stray too close are quickly taking care of, her greatsword chopping off body parts left and right.</e>

After some tearful goodbyes, the druid/witch Raisa returned home to Rashemen after receiving a visit from a young Rashemi woman. Explanations were short.

_The Peltarchian Senator Rath Ashald, of all people, was recently spotted "slumming" in Jiyyd. Apparently he placed some kind of bet with a certain white-haired elf involving a duel with Rath's two Seafarer guardsmen.
If you ask Rath, he was victorious in the end, because the elf's winnings were used to further glorify the Ashald name by funding the resurrection of some damsel in distress. If you ask anyone else, Rath lost the bet and is an obnoxious arse, to boot._

Rumours tell that Miss Nyda may have lost her mind. A few days ago she passed through town and was seen walking and talking to herself in the hobgoblin lands before a man in gold armour tried to stop her. An orcish mage then seems to have raised her ire, leading to a chase across the plains in which she was heard to swear. An argument was seen between her and the man in armour, one Drelan, following which he carried her unconscious form to Norwick.
Since that time she has returned to Jiyyd but seems unfocussed much of the time, muttering a litany of apologies under her breath and seemingly alternating between cradling her hands close, glaring at them or regarding them in fear.
Perhaps the moon-maiden has finally lost all touch with stable reality, but her friends seem to be watching and waiting for her to recover rather than locking her in a room, so far.

Any/Wog can now be seen wearing a helm everywhere he goes. Few know why but it is rumored his face has somehow been disfigred in some way

Recently the redhead known as Zet or Cee has brought a cow to Jiyyd and seems to have worked out a deal with someone to have it put in a stable. She obviously takes good care of her cow and can be seen offering fresh milk to anyone who doesn't run when she approaches with a her sheepish smile.
((If a DM could contact me with the kind of deal that was worked out i. e. once a week cleaning the whole stable, a portion of the milk for the owner of the stable, a monetary fee, that would be great ))
She can also be heard talking of how in the night you should be extra watchful because sometimes a portal would open and demonic dwarves and spiders would come through and eat all the orcs, and then they would still be hungry. And someone should finally give that dwarven apprentice a proper wizard hat!

The Legionnaire Major known as Mog is seen visiting the dwarven temple mroe often of late with the passing of Jirka. Word has it he spends long hours praying and often comes out with puffy eyes as if he had been crying.
-
Rumors spread like a wildfire in jiyyd about Jirka being dead. Some say she came back to take farewell from her friends, and that she was at peace. Other say that she came down like a storm and slayed Orcs and hobgoblins like never before. Some smile aothers are sad. Some are even heard whispering that jriak brought nothing but trouble to Jiyyd since she moved in. The only thing all say the same is that they witnessed a bright while light that shot up towards the skys where Jirka supposedly died. And a dwarven laughter was heard throughout Jiyyd.

_Stories abound of some sort of family quarrel between Rolan and his little sister Star. She was said to have placed 3 kegs behind him, standing with a lit torch over them waiting for all near to clear away so she could blow him up. Words were exchanged about many things, including Rolan being a baby killer and then they finally took it outside the gates of Jiyyd. There was no explosion and Rolan came walking in the gates of Jiyyd a bit later with a sad look on his face and headed to the legion halls without answering any questions.
Whispers are heard about Rolan truely being a banite again and that he is sacrificing babies to his dark god in Jiyyd. Women with children give him a wide area as he walks around the town._

Commoner Bob: "Ya 'ear about that strange arse sight out on the road to the east of 'ere? Couldn't believe me ears when I heard it. Seems that one of those big sword wielden pig men went after a caravan right along the road. Chopped up a small one it did, cleaved him right in two with a single blow mightier than Tempus's himself I been told."
Commoner Linda: "Well ain't nuttin to weird about that. I mean, tis a horrible thing and all but ain't that be 'appen all the time?"
Commoner Bob: "See, that be the thing Linda. While the orc was doing it to this little ole girl all the rest o' the caravan just stood and watched or so its said, even the warriors paid to be protectin it and all. Even stranger was the Orc cause once he got done slicing up the kiddie you know what he did?"
Commoner Linda: "Go after all the fools just staring at him?"
Commoner Bob: "That's what ya'd be thinkin, but it ain't be what happened. He turned that big ole sword of his around and put it straight through him. One o' the guard went out to when they 'eard the commotion and was tryin to see what was goin on. And he said he heard them saying somethin, real quite like, all in unison."
Commoner Linda: "What was that Bob? -fully enthralled at this point-"
Commoner Bob: "They were repeatin this, though I cinnae make hide nor hairs of it. 'We could stop it but we didn't, just for you jen.' They wouldn't budge at all for poor guard so he went back in to the town to get some real help. When he came back out he found the bodies all burning where they stood. Said there looked to be something odd with them but couldn't figure it out with the blaze an all."
Commoner Linda: "How odd"
Commoner Bob: "Ayup, but with all the elementals and orcs running round 'ere lately some'ow doesn't surprise me to much"

Jiyyd was pummelled by elementals and powerful winds and lightning strikes. An evil priestess of Talos finally appearing and killing several before retreating to the east road. A group followed and they lost more and more to her wrath until they finally cornered her in Ormpur. The fight lasted almost a complete day and only half of the group that survived the chase to ormpur lived. In the end however, Nathander Steel, Vroka, Fadia, Khaya, Ludo, Drelan, and Alvar blackwood were left standing, the priestess finally been slain. The weary survivors raised the bodies, a man in gold armor seen carrying a pink haired bard back into jiyyd and upon her raising quickly paid Drudo for a room for three days, and saying any that woke him would do so at their own risk.

_Scouts who travel off the Near East road, might notice occasional corpses in the snow. They're bound and near-naked with a snowflake carved into their chests but no major injuries beyond that.
Most of the corpses are hobgoblins, some human_
