Rumors spread about a fight in Three Legged Mule tavern. Apparently four people were escorted to the jail and corpse of one unlucky was carried out of there by the city guards.
Peltarch Commoners could have seen the Guards escorting Arak´Hur, Grakk and two other men. The four persons were wounded and showing evidence of being involved in a fight. They were all taken to the Jail Building and have not been seen leaving it just yet

Rumors speak of a small group of adventurers heading into the swamp - and not all of them returning home. Of course, it might even be more odd that someone has been going about town asking for Chessentan - which could mean that they are confused about the geography, or just raving mad.
-
Rasuil is also overheard muttering about petty theft in the Inn, saying "He didn't get away with much, but someone else might not be so lucky."
-
Rumor spreads that a thief in red robes and dark cloack has been picking pockets in the rest rooms of the Inn…

Petty thievery has risen dramatically in the last season, at its worst in the Docks District, though everywhere pickpockets target vulnerable coinpurses, light-handed wretches whip sundries from the stands of merchants and there are even more reports of minor break-ins in the Commerce District. All over town the wealthy purchase shiny new locks, sold with promises of magical proof against picking, merchants buy safes to store their earnings in and traps to brutalize any thief who tries to crack them. The non-human populace, halflings in particular, are eyed with suspicion by the rest, hands covering purses when any of the short folk pass within an arm's length. Men and women in taverns and behind closed doors ruminate over the reasons behind this rise in petty crimes, some saying that a Guard Captain has been bribed to turn a blind eye for a few months, others saying it was a gradual process, others still claim the city's ne'er do wells have finally banded together into a Thieves Guild.

Grak happens to stop by inn and tells a story about walking giant oak, which was stalking him and two other innocent travellers just outside Peltarch walls
"Aye, dat must been da same giant-oak which has been ensnaring und devouring weakling travellers along dem Nars Pass. Fer some reason, dem creature has moved arooond dese parts.
Dat foolish twigling thought dat Grak bes good candidate ta devour, haar har ha! Dat vermin-creature soon knew better as it noticed Grak's aura of might and both axe und torch at Grak's hand! Grak gives ya all piece of free advice, when walking near trees, have dem hatched und torch ready und when in doubt, swing und ask questions later. Dat may save yar sorry hide frem being devoured or entralled bys dem oak's tricks."

Rumors also state that the war criminal and ally of N'jast, Zanetar, was carried to the jail cells by a few guards, escorted by none other than Senator Redralen.
-
Rumor spreads that an Oscuran is claiming to have been assulted in the nars pass by none other than Senator Ronan.

A spirited discussion is seen between two half-orcs in the commons. Anyone who understands Orcish notes that it seemed to be a religious discussion of some sort, with several dieties being mentioned and the name "Thag" being spoken numerous times later in the conversation before the half-orc in the Legion armour wandered off to the Inn

A rather large individual, wearing armor that appears to have been made from the scales and hides of various beasts can be seen moving about Peltarch recently. Rumors are that he is a Beastmaster, traveling the lands offering his services to those who would pay. The man, known as Araatris is also seen in the wilds surrounding the city, he is often accompanied by an Elf who is thought to be a priest of Silvanus and Associate to Araatris.
-
Rumors spread of the death of the Helmite Knight Draihken Harbringer, succumbing to old age
-
The man called Herald can be seen in the Commons, writing in his little book with a rather cold expression, though he seems pleasant enough when approached. It would seem something finally elicited an emotion from the mild man… and not a good one.

_The Black Sails brute known as Jay was seen having a bit of a heated argument with Kosef, Keeper of the Watchful Repose. After some colorful insults, the both of them, along with a few spectators, followed outside the city to watch a duel take place.
Several moments later, Jay returned with sweaty hair and a slightly bruised cheek. Kosef did not seemingly return right after.
In addition, it seems an hour or two later, Jay was seen talking with guardswoman Yana. The two seemed quite serious with their conversation. Yana eventually leaving in tears, the Sail walking off toward the docks with a seemingly forced expression of stoicness… keen observers of the salty Sail would see he is upset, in his own way._
-
Rumor has it Yana was seen rather distraught, and crying in the Mermaid. Some folks say she got angry and broke things, while others say she just curled up on the couch downstairs and cried. Regardless, she was seen a few days later reporting for duty in the docks, same as always.

Senria shakes her head as she walks past, chuckling silently to herself over the fact that a Peltarch senator doesn't even know the laws of her own city.

After reading the flyer
The "Keep of the Fallen"? Isnt that the tower in Oscura that's home to the undead? What's this necromancer recruiting new folks for? Fresh bodies for his army of zombies?
Marty takes down the flyer, rolls it up and stuffs it into her satchel.
