There was a demon attack in the pass. A horde of small demons attacked, but they were all vanquished. It appears that prior to the attack, gnolls attacked and killed some people at Sam's hill, though all of them were brought back to life. After the attack, Belade rushed to Tero's hut and woke him. When he came outside, he did not look good. Belade soon brought him back to bed, and those who came near the hut after she left, only having been inside for a few minutes, can smell the scent of roses and other flowers.
