Wood trip. . .

_Arandor, Tala, Aurelia, Constantin and Star, each ventured out into the spider forest, the intent of this expedetion was for Tala to find the wood needed to make a Bow suitable for Aurelia to buy, Not to strong but well balanced. The group went all the way to the cove fighting the hordes of spiders along the way, after reaching theend and getting ready to return, Star crossed a bridge over a fissure i nthe ground and found some trees, apparently which was just what Tala was looking for, she cut as much of the wood as she waas able to and her and Arandor hauled it back by tying them all into bundels and dragging, on the way back there were some earthquakes felt and large numbers of spiders attacking, after the spiders were killed there was another earthquake and a burst of light came opening a portal from which many Gnolls came through, with both Tala and Arandor burdened by the logs they were vulnerable Targets, Constantin and Star fought them off shooting with precise accuracy at weak spots the gnolls have dropping them easy, Aurelia revealed her ability to use arcane magics by casting armor spells on the two encumbered loggers to keep them safe, all the gnolls were killed except one which vanished into the portal. The roup continued the return trip as best they could fighting the remaining spiders along the way, Auriel was using her enchanted arrows that never miss on some of the spiders but unable to cause damage to her duress. they returned to the camp without further affliction and settled to mend their wounds before crafting the bow.
((the server crashed before the bow was made but the adventure was pretty much over by then, great fun and awesome rp for all us involved, thank you whichever dm was with us :D! ))_
