Build Update: 878s



  • Overview:
    This is my last update as Lead Developer of Narfell. It includes several new script systems to help dms, project submissions from our new and old devs, a fix to the bugs the plagued resting (i know you have all been waiting for that one), and some alterations in tanning and smelting.

    Bugs (Any and all bugs)

    • Time to rest should be accurate from now on
    • Time to rest should no reset unless the PC rests
    • Hardening White wolf hides should take tanning kits correctly
    • Deadwood Crossbows creatable now

    Monsters (Including difficulty and Scripts)

    • New creatues for Coann
    • Kuo Toa use new models

    Areas (Includes all Enviorment changes and additions)

    • Oscura Mithril Mug update

    NPC's

    • Father Dagon updated.

    Items

    • New XP token system to all dms to award xp quickly

    Quests

    • None this Build *

    Special Notes:

    • Forge now requires coal to work. Simply place coal in the forges inventory, and it will be added the forges fuel level when the invetory panel is closed. The costs of coal and the amont of coal used while forging may need to be tweaked later after its used for a bit.
    • Tanning has been made a little more realisitc, and requires wood instead of tanning kits.
      *Steel manufacturing requires a little coal.
      *DMs have a new way to declare an area a major battlefield. This will turn off random loot and corpse generation for that area. This will hopefully decrease lag and cpu load on the server.
