In the cover of a dark night, Ugluk Rumgut jumps the wall and sneacks into town and grabs one of the letters that is nailed against a tree. He unsheathes a small knife and makes a small cut in his thumb and marks the piece o paper in the tree, he turns his back and exits town with out beehing seen nor heard.

Oreth occasionally stops into town to clean out the stew pot and concoct a chicken and garlic soup, which he makes available for free to any commoner who wants it. Occcasionally, the chicken is replaced by venison, beef, or wolf, but the garlic remains ever-constant

When Elissa hears commoner's complain about this, she takes a heart and offers to pay them 30 Gold for the same substance. She also volunteers to perform the bloodletting with the necessary skill so that no permanent harm would be done. Through all this, she smiles warmly.

Many commoners can be seen scratching their heads as their illiteracy denies them the joy of knowing that for the amount of blood they loose in a week of hard labor could mean the equivalent pay of a years worth of hard work, though when some adventurer reads it alloud the ones who hear it are immediately overjoyed as they rush off to tell everyone that their worries are over! A few of them even are seen scowling at the goodly adventurers who are off burning the papers trying to deny them the opportunity that could be used to feed, clothe, shelter or school them. . after all whats the worse that can happen considering all that has in the past

Finding a letter while weeding the beet patch, Raisa begins to wonder if there's a connection between the letter and a certain berry sold elsewhere.

_Rugg'var is seen stomping around, looking grumpy near the well. He's heard muttering something unintelligible. Suddenly, he clutches his abdomen, his eyes burst with a sense of urgency and he is seen looking frantic from left to right.
He spy's a parchment tacked to the well bucket yoke and snatches it away quickly before he hurriedly disappears into the bushes. He is overheard praising the fact that the papers were near at hand and is relieved to know he now has outhouse wipe papers during his emergency moment of need._

Occasionally visiting Jiyyd, Elissa can be seen collecting some of the letters as well. She later can be setting up a fire with the help of some wine, too.

As light dawns, Kara can be seen gathering up as many of these letters as she can and taking them to the south hill outside of Jiyyd, where she promptly burns them. Though she gathers quite a few, she does not get them all.
