The Guardians

  • _A group of heavily armed martial individuals known as the "Guardians" had recently made their presence known in the camp with their current activities.

They were often seen to be patrolling the areas in the inner camp, notably from one rune pillar to the other in small groups.

While some of them are busy patrolling the pillars, the others would spend some time by the huge bonfire, seemingly to be enjoying each other's company like a close knitted family that can be seen from their roaring laughter heard across the camp.

Sometimes, the Guardians would attempt to teach the Galis of the camp some form of self defences in martial ways for free. However, not many Galis had taken their presence seriously for most of their 'students' are merely children sent by their parents to the Guardians, thinking they are a group of daycare babysitters while they are busy rebuilding the camp.

At other times, a big female half-orc in red can be seen making a strange looking stew that she takes pride of, made from all sorts of questionable ingredients._

  • A letter is delivered to the Elders in a flowing script of beautiful calligraphy that seems painted rather than inked.

" Honoured Elders, I write to inform you of happenings in the Camp mining cave last evening. As per our plan the lure of the crystals within the cavern proved sufficient to bring the Mage out from hiding to try and secure them. With great magics we were hard beset, but both elemental spells and by summoned elementals. The mage, through invisibility magics managed during this conflict to secure the crystals.
Those Guardians present, along with Lilly and Celina of the Sisterhood, fought fiercely but were brought low by such magics as he employed.
Eventually with the help of the Romany guardsmen however he was brought to bear upon the bridge to the gnoll lands. He was disabled and bound and questioned. He claims to have freed the creature or person imprisoned in the fifth crystal, freed from enforced imprisonment that the mage implied was unjust. He also expected the freed being to try and rescue him from imprisonment. His aim seems to have been the freeing of the remaining four with them under his control if at all possible, and if not possible then under their own cognisance. Unfortunately he proved stubborn and despite being bound managed to cast a final spell to try and kill us. I was forced to kill him at this point, my apologies. His body was disposed of by the guards and the Crystals taken by Jonni for Cera to seal away.

    Known as Sara,
Guardian and Gali of this Camp."

  • _The Guardians in the camp have made a drastic change in their usual patrol route and have intensify their presence in guarding the mining cave in the camp.

Often, some of them could be seen escorting Lilin transferring chests into the cave that seemed to be important as she is also being guarded by her heavily armed bodyguards other than the Guardians at the same time.

What could be in the cave? What is it Lilin and the Guardians may be hiding and guarding so cautiously and secretively in there? No Galis and outsiders know for none of them aside from the selected few could enter._

  • _Recently, the people in the gypsie camp notices a change in the Guardian's patrolling route.

The heavily armed Guardians are often found patrolling the areas close to the waterfall where a rune pillar is found and the places where the Elders often resides.

The Guardians are often seen asking the nearby Galis in the camp if they have seen a suspicious looking robed mage whenever they stop at every patrolling checkpoints._
