Player Login: ShauggIn a dark corner of a deep cavern, Tea Drestree kneels above the fallen commander Lou ‘utu as he strains to speak. “Our training was not good enough, the drow are defeating us on all fronts.â€
“Try not to think about it†she replies, “for now just think of getting back to the surface, there we can think about what went wrong.â€
His face cringes in a mixture of pain and anger, “Donâ€t be a fool, once the moon shines again the drow will enter the surface and any elf they find will be slaughtered!†He gasps and winces at the strain of speaking so forceful. “And I wonâ€t be making it to the surface again.†He glances down at his guts and how they have been pulled out of his body and though still connected, lay on the ground beside him. His glassy eyes once again focus on Tea. “Gather as many of the others as you can and leave as swiftly. Find someplace to train your stealth tactics and then, when formidable, return to our wood and rid if to the drow plague that has cursed us.â€
Tea looks over Lou and know he is right, that there is little hope left except to accept loss and flee for now. She opens her mouth as if reply when she hears movement. Her eyes widen, her muscles tense. She glances about the darkness wondering if she can slip away unseen and unheard. Her finger slowly wrap around the hilt of her sword and as she lifts she rises to a crouch. She hears a noise and instinctively drops her blade in order to catch the head that has fallen from her shoulders, but as the blood escapes her body, so does the will and ability to go on.From behind a rock Leelie remains frozen. She hasnâ€t moved since watching Lou be disemboweled by two drow. She wanted to call out to Tea and tell her to hush, to let her know that it was not safe to talk here but she couldnâ€t move her lips, they were frozen. She hears the sound of a blade through flesh and the sound a metal then a limp body falling to the ground. In the darkness her eyes see the blackness washed with red, terror and pain fill her as she knows there is no escaping. Silently swinging she bounds from behind her rock, in her mind she sees her arms moving through the air, they are wrapped in white fabric. She sees blackness moving through darkness, motion in the darkness and ducks and swings and feels her blade hit something, something soft, flesh. Pressure on her foot, noise of hands slapping the cavern floor, she swings behind her and turns to see eyes, angry eyes, and now she can hear hissing breath, smell it, hate it. The eyes see hers too, they see she like them, the hate has made her a killer too. Leelie picks up her foes blade and heads for the surface.
Upon reaching the surface she wanders back to her old dwelling. She still has anger in her eyes when she reaches the disserted lands. Thus begins the pain in her heart. Before she has time to return to her own home a scream rips through the air and body drops from a tree. Fleeting is the thought through her mind, but it is day. Aaaaggggghhhhhhh. It is a man who has landed before her and shoved her with much force backward. Lee stumbles to the ground and scrambles to regain her composure but it is too late. The man is upon her. Hate burns in his eyes as he kicks her in the ribs. She recognizes him.
“Get yourself together and head to the retreat point†he snarls.Upon reaching the retreat she is met with many other elves, elves with hate in their eyes. There is an elder who speaks of vengeance, he speaks of Shevarash. Quickly a Midwinter night Came and the oath was taken. “From now on you are a Morohtar for Shevarash annd will be know as Salka Mori, the dark dancer†The priest of Shevarash told Lee. “Go forth and find the drow fiends and deliver our message with arrows and blades.â€
Salka Mori traveled north with a band of her fellow warriors with the promise that more would follow.
