    Gruum born in a barbarian tribe in Narfell, from a human mother and an orcish father. He grew up much more stronger than the other children.
    One day, while he was playing at fighting, a young man laughed at his orcish origins, and he, on a fit of rage, struck the man with a punch at the head, killing him.
    The tribe's master exiled him, giving Gruum the name "Skullcrasher". He left his home with a feeling of scorn towards both his parents' races: the orcs for their bad reputation, and humans for their racial prejudices.
    While he was wandering in the plains south of Jyyid, seeking relief in killing some orcish patrols, he met the old dwarf Dobur.
    At first he tried to smash also the dwarf, but this one blocked him and started to talk with Gruum. The dwarf showed him respect, a thing that no one had ever showed him before. Since then, the two has made a strange pact. Gruum borrows Dobur his strenght, while the dwarf helps him to survive between the rules of society.
