A Call to arms.

Kara stands quietly on the battlements to the west of Jiyyd staring out for a brief moment, before she finally turns to look upon the town, then descends from the fortification to place a piece of vellum on the support beam. With the paper secured, she turns to address those present, various charred marks still present on her armour from the night before, during the battle of the plains.
Citizens of Jiyyd,
A threat looms upon the horizon of your town now in numbers that would make even seasoned knights doubt their own arms. Mintas is infested with the walking dead that could very well threaten the lives of everyone living here and more. If this threat is allowed to continue to exist, we will lose all control of the situation.
It is no secret that my order, the Watchful Repose has been trying to remove any trace of the undead where they are found, but with this threat…we cannot do so alone. This is not a problem that will simply leave if ignored. They have all eternaty. what am I asking for? I am asking for help from anyone who can wield a sword, or magic against perhaps the largest gathering of enemies this land has seen in recent years.
As of this moment, we are looking into alternative means of getting inside the City, instead of having to fight our way through. There is a plan in the works, but it needs help.
If you want to help rid your lands of a threat that has existed too long, please, leave your name on this parchment. When we are prepared enough, we will go and end this menace, once and for all. This is not for glory...it is simply so you may all live in peace.
With that, she nods and then turns to limp off towards the healing wonders to get tended

( Planned for Thursday, no real time past when everyone shows up  )
Word is sent out to all those who added their name to the list via runners with letters about the planned attack in two tendays time, it asks for everyone to be prepared for the worst and to ask anyone with a will to fight this evil to aid in the attack. At the end of the letters, it is said to find Kara, if there are any questions and where she can usually be found.
Meanwhile, Kara is seen spending alot of time on the southern hill, watching out over the windy plains. At her side, rests several large and old looking maps of jiyyd, which is clear to anyone approaching her. For the majority of the time, her expression is either unreadable or frowning in thought.

Arsmyth pauses in his travels as he takes note of the message. A grimace haunts his features, as he turns and continues on. Those near the fire with keen hearing catch his words on the breeze.
"I've been saying this since my arrival. No one wanted to hear any of it. But now it's a grand idea."
Shaking his head in disgust, he pushes the gates open.
"I'll nae pledge my bow to a mob. It's use is for the better of all. Not some treasure hunt or quest for honor and glory."
Closing the gates behind him, he heads off down the road.

With regards to the orb being destroyed first, I must disagree. Scrolls first, then orb. This is the natural order of things. unsigned
-
Dentin walks around the town, looking for Kara with questions regarding the battle.
-
Gurt notices the post, can't read it, and continues on his way.
-
Hjoichi Olsen sends word privately to Kara confirming that the Far Scouts would be willing to Liaise with the mission. He also asks for some timing information so that they can properly equip and prepare.
-
The name of Mark seems to be scratched from the list.
Those who saw this would note it was before the fliers appeared.
-
In the wake of the scrolls floating about town, Oreth signs his name to the paper, and adds
The orb should be destroyed first. If aid is needed in this, I will serve that goal first.
-
Lucidious takes a moment to read over the list of names as shay puts her mark on the paper. When she finishes, he steps forward and sketches the name "Lucidious" below hers.
-
Lucidious helps show Shahrazad how to sign her name on the paper. Two crudely drawn swords are next to the messily written name, meant to clarify the barely legible writing.
-
A big half-orc dressed in an orange set of clothes can be seen looking the parchment over. A shovel is in his right hand. He seems to be trying to count the amount of names on the list…
"Oi, Me gotses lots of graveses to digs nows."
With a sad shake of his head, he wanders off to start making final resting places for the 'brave' warriors.
-
The cleric Dobur Maydur wrote "I'll give an help with my healing, if I'll be able to join"
-
If I'm around at the time, ya can count on me support.
-
Certainly the scrolls must come beofre the holy water soakage. First things first after all.
-
"The Sisterhood" Is wrote in a delicate femine script. Anyone standing around would hear Nicahh comment that to let her know when such an attack is planned so they can clear out the children and open up the infirmary to care for those wounded in battle.
-
A few delicate letters are written amidst the names, the ink a dark shade of red, together they make up the name Elissa_. Added behind it, using a different ink, the same hand wrote:_ a former citizen of Jiyyd.
-
asks some one to write her name on the paper
Raver Styx
-
Raven looks at the written conversation about scrolls and smiles as he scrawls on his own little addendum before wandering off
"Wands are more useful and they shouldn't be harmed by a sprinkle of holy water. Maybe."
-
Following crude writing has appeared on the parchement:
"GrAk wIll gLadLY hElp, FoR meAgeR Sum oF tHOUsAnd cOinS"
-
Peppy. Though under condition of no holy water soaking till after scrolls are recovered. Scrolls first.
