Time Spent in Narfell: December 2005 - Feb 2010

    Character: Sabre Seesaw

    Class: Fighter/Rogue ( 4 / 11 )

Home and Location: Peltarch (part-time Oscura)

    Town Position: None

Guild affiliation: The Black Sails (Captain)

    Custom items:

Sabre's Paradise Ring - enchanted by long-time friend Celebring, this ring appears made of three slim reeds in gold, the bare stems braided together at the back and the leaves cradling a shimmering paradise pearl at the front. Inscribed at the inside of the ring are the following words: "To bend, but never break". + 1 dexterity (Aeo)

Sabre's Black Pearl Choker - Custom made for Sabre Seesaw, the flawless black pearls that make up this elegant choker have been polished to a lustrous finish. Golden beads added along it's length seperate the pearls into sections of ten, each bead carefully etched to appear as though knotted from the cord that suspends them. Necklaces of this quality are rarely seen outside the posession of nobility or the notably wealthy, lending to the air of success and prestige that hangs around it. Simple yet stunning, this black pearl necklace is sure to be a prize among any jewelry collection. - DM LowerDenizen, a much beloved gift from Rasuil

Choker Of Eloquence - Coveted by bards, singers, and public speakers, this beautiful necklace is carved from ivory and jade. - DM Glittergold

Eyes Of Charming (helm) - Look into my eyes, look deep into my eyes, don't look awayyy…

Sabre's Trapped Gloves - A pair of elegant silk gloves, cunningly designed and embued with a light enchantment to aid their wearers skill with traps: +3 disarm traps, +2 set traps (enchanted by Meciqz the Young)

Flame Sickle (+1 enchantment, +1 fire damage, 10 % cold vunerability, DM Stormbringer) - Sabre's much beloved off-hand shortsword, a gift from Pavel, enchanted by Haribo the Great to hold both a magically sharp and heated edge.

Looterific Pig Sticker (+2 AB, +2 slashing damage, 1d4 cold damage, DM Sailorific) - You might want to wear some gloves when you pick up this ice covered pig sticker! This vicious short sword was recovered on the Sails' second attempt at finding the fabled treasure island. Instead of finding buried wealth, they had a highly volatile encounter with a mad mage, who kept horrific undead pigs and harpies as pets. The mage laid waste to the party for the loss of his prized undead pork, but was either too insane to finish them off completely, or successfully persuaded not to by the efforts of the skulking scallywag John Isle, last man standing.

Telflammi Bounty Blade (+1 AB, +1 acid damage, +2 search, +2 spot, DM Moob) - Purchased at an Oscuran auction, this nifty blade aids Sabre's less than razor sharp senses, making it her favourite while playing trapspringer.

Breath Of The Maiden (+1 enchantment, +poison) - Originating from the drow attack on Norwick, this blade was eventually purchased by Sabre as a suitable twin to her Telflammi Bounty Blade (for those especially sour moods).

Shadar-Kai War Hatchet/s (+4 hide, +1 AB, +1 cold damage) - While Sabre kept a careful and deliberate distance from the troublesome Shadovar, these cool and stealthy twin hatchets nontheless found their way into her possession at a later stage, purchased together with her Maiden blade. Sabre finds them especially handy for those pesky undead - no doubt party because she prefers avoiding such a fight entirely. (one of these now in Rasuil's possession)

Buckler Of Hope (+1 AC, +2 universal saves, DM Morgoth) - this small and exquisite wooden shield was aquired through a mutually beneficial trade with Rasuil, upon which Sabre's flashy, but larger and heavier Calishite Spellturning Shield (purchased at an Oscuran auction) was given to the ofttime unlucky ranger in exchange for his smaller one, reported to have originated from the stinking sewers of Peltarch. Sabre has quite the fondness for this shield, despite being wary of it turning her somewhat.. heroic.

Looterific Leathers of Purple Shadows (+2 AC, 5/- piercing, 5 % bludgeon vunerability, +2 hide, +2 move silently, +2 tumble, DM Sailorific) - I spy with my lil' eye.. something lurking in the shadows.. Another wonderful find amongst the goods pilfered from the mad, undead pork-loving mage. Despite the girlish little skirt on these otherwise tight-fitting leathers, Sabre wears them with no little amount of satisfaction.

Valkur Cloak of Awesomesauce (5/- slashing, 5/-cold, +2 parry, DM Sailorific) - while persuing a weathered treasure map left to the Sails by Deacon's pet parrot, the intrepid crew found themselves on a remote island in the Icelace, where a crew of Valkurite pirates were already in hot persuit of a particularily large black diamond. After having done away with the competition (and very nearly lost life and limb while at it), the Sails nicked the diamond and the remaining booty. Though the massive diamond was snatched by the greedy priestess Mercy, Sabre picked this warm and protective cloak for herself, wearing it with an odd sense of pride despite - or because of? - its Valkurite origins.

Cloak Of The Hidden (+1 dexterity, +6 hide) - Sabre's handy-dandy camoflague cloak, purchased from trusty crew-mate Korlis Sterr.

The Icedawn's Embrace (spell resistance 12, 10/- cold, DM NoMore) - this cloak is beyond merely warm, perhaps blessed by the Icemaiden herself. It was roughly yanked from the shoulders of a zealous Aurilite priest that had, alongside his frost-nipped cronies, attacked Sabre's ship while the majority of the crew were engaged in an underwater mission to recover certain relics of the Kossuthan faith. To the Aurilites surprise, the underwater adventurers snuck onboard their attackers vessel upon returning, launching a savage counter attack which ended in the Sails favour.

Floss - custom-tailored for Sabre by miss Vanessa of Vanity Plates, to highlight the sailor's best _ass_ets: +2 perform (created by Nilla)

Calishite Luck (+1 to every skill, +1 universal save, DM Moob) - probably Sabre's all time favourite outfit; soft, sleek silk, with a wonderful enchantment for an enterprising jack-of-all-trades. Found while assisting an Oscuran noble with a special assignment.

Time spent in Narfell: early June 2006

    Character: Lycka Zomasdottir

    Class: Bard/Fighter ( 13 / 1 )

    Home and Location: Peltarch

Town Position: Cerulean Knight (6th Star), Senatorial advisor

Guild/organization affiliations: Knights of the Cerulean Stars, Bardic College

    Custom items:

Wartooth's Chain (+3 AC, 5/- slashing resist, DM Morgoth) - This antiquated looking chainmail in green and brown bears the runes of the Northmen of the Moonshaes and once belonged to Karlsefni "Wartooth", a legendary hero who set off to fight a terrible foe. Upon the destruction of the demon Arvangel, Karlsefni and his men were freed from centuries of torment, having been trapped alongside the demon ever since they fell fighting it the first time. Karlsefni's spirit gifted the party with his own armor, helm, shield and of course the fabled blade Wartooth, the reforged Heart of Winter. While Aelthas carries the blade, Lycka is more than proud to wear Karlsefni's armor, which offers not only fine protection for her continued adventuring, but is also a treasured memory of her first real research efforts and of a great plot in which a young bard felt she could make a difference.

Callurdan Smoothhand's Armor (+1 AC, +2 AC vs evil, spell resistance 14) - This leather armor was recovered amidst other treasures on a strange and death-defying planar trip by Aelthas and his party. Later gifted to Lycka, who promptly prettified the bland brown leathers at the Vanity Plates. Now turned blue and silver, this armor serves Lycka well in her work. - Currently in Eowiel Senella's care

Aquatic Shield (+1 AC, +2 AC vs reptilian, -20 % spell failure, +1 persuade, weight reduction, DM Vanquish/Skippy remake) - This large, round shield is covered in corals in a beautiful elven pattern. It's origins is even more wonderous than the shield itself, however - on Aelthas' quest to earn mastery of his lycanthropy through Selune's grace, the final path lead his party to the moon itself. After slaying a vicious moon dragon, the questing few arrived at a strangely green pool of water, guarded by crazed aquatic elves. After winning that fight, the final test remained - for Aelthas to fight his own wicked reflection, green and toxic, rising from the waters. With the aid of his friends and his godess, the most important fight of the Selunite's life was won, and the shield Lycka carries is a valued reminder of that, besides being highly prized in itself.

Mask of Sorrow (will save +2, DM Sunshine) - This mask once belonged to Zoma, Lycka's father, and is perhaps her single most treasured possession. It features a distinct sorrow motive with blue gems inlaid in silver, forming teardrop shapes.

Spirit Singer's Medallion (charisma +2, Spell Resistance 24 charges, DM Prismatic) - This simple, but beautiful medallion in the form of a wolf's head in silver can nearly always be found hanging around Lycka's neck, an unassuming light grey cloth holding it in place. The cloth is made of wolf fur, and together with the wolf's head, it signifies the wearer's status as a spirit singer, something akin to a skald in Lycka's tribal homeland far north in the Great Glacier. This medallion was awarded to Lycka by her tribe shaman after she and her party had saved the remnants of her kin, the Grey Wolf clan, from a fate worse than death at the hands of an Aurilite priestess. This priestess meant to use the life and very souls of everyone of Lycka's blood to transcend into lichdom. Both Lycka herself and her mother Ragnhild lost their lives in the fierce fights against the priestess and her forces, but only the former returned. Lycka wears the medallion with both pride, rememberance and sorrow, for much was lost in gaining such a prize.

Silverymoon Performers ring (+4 perform, 15 m blue light, DMPasty) - Lycka's engagement ring, purchased by Aelthas while in Silverymoon during Cherry and Aramuil's wedding. Once lost to an Erinyes at the gates of Hell, along with the finger it sat on (DM Lazarus).

Sleight of Hand - A ring found by Horbag Hurkink after a series of misfortunate events and attacks on the Rats and Bats restaurant in Jiyyd, later given to her niece Lycka (3 extra spellslots for bards, cantrips, DM Apparition).

Bell Ring - This trendy ring has a magical bell attached to it, which makes a nice ringing sound as you walk. - DM Moob

This cute little ring enables its wearer to memorize an additional spell of the first circle. Despite being a trendy and light-hearted type of item, its origins lie in the fearfully myth-shrouded Keep of the Fallen in the underground city of Oscura, where a formerly high ranking Oscuran official, gone mad with power, was fought by the combined forces of goodie-two-shoes and Oscuran not-so-goods.

Firthram's Gift (Sequencer, 3 spells, 9 uses, DM Morgoth) - A beautiful harp gifted to Lycka by the merchant Firthram, upon the birth of her and Aelthas' son Jonni, bearing the following description:

_The harp is beautiful in construction, made from the deep and lustrous wood of rare ebony. Engraved upon its surface in filigreed gold are intricate elven runes. Translated these are the songs of hope and learning. As you play the harp, it calls to you to sing to it. Singing to the harp will store within a song or a spell. Though care should be taken as it is limited in that aspect.

On the bottom of the harp is inscribed in platinum "To Lycka, may the song forever sound, Firthram"_

Firthram's Gift (Perform +4, persuade +4, 1 extra spellslot for bard level 2, level 3, DM Morgoth) - The second of Firthram's gifts, this one was awarded for the banishment of age-old evil festering in the ruins of Myth Revain and Faern Samman - once beautiful cities of elves and dwarves, living in harmony with human mages until their alliance was shattered by betrayal, and consumed by darkness. This soft white velvet belt, custom made for Lycka, shimmers with magic and lends some of it's smooth lustre to the wearer's voice and movements.

Drummer's Gauntlets (+4 perform, +1 AC) - mad scribbles cover these gauntlets, once belonging to a Defender Battledrummer turned Cyricist madman. He attacked Aelthas and Lycka near the south gates of Norwick, and while the former held him off, Lycka got the finishing blow in via a very precise and painful bolt in his backside. -DM Vanquish

Leather collar (+2 listen, created by Nilla) - Ummm.. don't ask.

Peppy's Pee-smelling Hat (standard helmet, renamed by Nilla) - Mundane enough item, but carries a hilarious story from Lycka's earliest days of adventuring. Now often adorns the armor stand at Aelthas and Lycka's apartment.

Lycka's Reward (-1 dex, +1 cha and +3 perform, DM Sunshine) - A tight, yet silky bustier in deep red and gold, given to Lycka by Lacey of The Wilting Flower Shoppe as reward for artwork created for the temple.

Lycka's Wedding Robe (cold resistance/5, DM Sunshine) - A warm, layered gown in fine white wool, covered by an outer coat of fuzzy winter wolf fur. Fine-stitched embroidery of prismatic dragons and wolves decorate the skirt in particular, a similar pattern also on the silk scarf around the neckline.

Lycka's Cleavage Dress - A fine silk dress in glossy, bright pink, customized at Vanity Plates with the personal help and advice of Tria (aka DM Sunshine). The bodice of the pink dress is a subtle silver, while the very low neckline is lined with beautiful, shimmering rainbow colours to highlight the wearer's chest. The same rainbow colours also twinkle and glitter on the long skirt of the dress.

Pregnancy Penguin Robe and Helm - A special gift from C'Tan to Lycka, for the waddling stage of her pregnancy. 😄

Brooch of the Radiant (light 1/day, DM Prismatic) - An exotic looking, shining brooch that Lycka wears to fasten her cloak with. This small piece of jewelry is traditionally only worn by the Radiant Knight in the far away kingdom of Yalaira, but was given to Lycka and the other travellers of the Star Harpy by Prince Teran as a reward for saving the kingdom from the oppression of the Gremlin King.

Lycka's Singing Blade (+2 enchantment, 2 sonic damage) - After being sent out by Derek Underhill to battle a lich, Lycka's victorious party returned with some recovered items, parts of which were set aside for destruction due to their evil nature. For good deeds done and for resisting the lure of dark forces, the group's guide, a riddling sphinx, later reappeared bearing this fine longsword as virtue's own reward. Lycka weilds it with both joy and trepidation, trying her best to be a hero worthy of such a blade. Lost during the fall of Norwick.

Gnomish Charged Longsword - Once the proud invention of a Gnomish inventor, this longswords blade is charged highly with electricity, giving a shock to whom ever it cuts. Designed so that it also would protect the wearer, the blade will absorb any shocks given to the owner and recharging the sword itself. The inventor met a tragic demise when he fell victim to the Dread Baron Locke, his fate is unknown, but it is likely he became one of Baron Lockes undead servants. - DM Infernal - Traded to Lycka by Talindra Verados, for a certain flashy cloak

Bow of Melody (+1 AB, -4 MS/Hide, +4 perform, Soundburst 1/day, DM Predator) - A beautiful bow of elven make, recovered in a highly volatile rescue mission which took Lycka's party to a wizard's laboratory in Thay. This bow's wonderous ability in making each arrow practically sing in flight finally persuaded Lycka to - at least temporarily - abandon the crossbow she had favoured for so long. After extensive training in the art of elven bows, that is (only usable by bard, elf and half-elf).

Dowcher Blade (+1 divine damage, +1 enchantment, 100 % divine vunerability, 50 % magic vunerability, DM Lazarus) - This blade was chosen by Lycka as reward for her team's victory in the strange competition known as the Dowcher Trials.

Drone (morningstar +1, with a chance of slowing the foe it's pummelling, only usable by Constructs - or clever bards) - This peculiar looking morningstar resembles nothing so much as the extended arm of some ancient construct - probably because that's exactly what it is. Recovered from a daring delve into ancient ruins, Lycka finds particular delight in swinging this old yet functional toy, robot style.

Blazetamers Shroud - _Made of the finest silk, one would think to see this cloak around the shoulders of a noblewoman, not on a Demonbinder of old Narfell. A treasure from centuries past, given by Blazetamer himself to Lycka Zomasdottir for her efforts in defeating the Ansistris demon and in the hopes of it finding a future in the light, not lingering within the darkness.

The cloak itself may seem fragile in looks yet the magics woven into the threads make it so arrows simply deflect away from the wearer. The energies woven within it seem to absorb negative energy as if the dark magic powers the cloak itself.

No matter the past of the cloak, the future holds a chance for redemption for the old Demonbinder and his magics which brought so much pain and suffering. This artifact of ancient Narfell is truly amazing in it's make and the power it holds_. - DM Prismatic - Helm of Dischordant Echoes Finale Item

Scrying Mirror - a very fine mirror, enabling the knowledgable caster to a higher degree of scrying at certain intervals (Greater Scrying 1/month, item created by DM Evendur, found on an Eoden event).

Book of Tales - This book is the true meaning behind the words "Words can take you out of any situation". Enchanted by powerful bards, this books has several short stories in it, each of which cause different reactions on the listener. One can rally their allies or confuse their enemies with this stories… - DM Paella

    Guild/organization items: 1

Time spent in Narfell: End of October/start of November 2007

    Character: Caramella Bestefaren (inactive)

    Class: Wizard ( 10 )

    Home and Location: Peltarch

    Town Position: None

    Guild affiliation: Spellweaver's Keep (adept)

    Custom Items:

Extremity Blaster (searing light, 10 charges, DM Lazarus) - An emerald-tipped wand found - or maybe given - by a strange goblin mage encountered and slain in the Scalesinger's cave. The wand seems to deliberately target the crotch of its target, blasting it with searing white-hot light, and even refuses to fire at inanimate or crotchless beings/objects. Much to Caramella's shame, the wand has so far also proven exceedingly difficult to control, and is usually hidden away in the mysterious depths of her hat, for safety reasons.

Dazzling Hat (Color Spray 1/day, DM Stuiped) - A gem-covered hat that sparkles and shimmers in all the colours of the rainbow. Staring at it for too long will most certainly make you dizzy, to the point of risking falling into a gem coma! The hat was liberated from the clutches of kobolds by Caramella and Gilda Haven, but as the brave gnomettes prepared to leave in triumph and return it to it's rightful owner, that owner turned up and proved to be a vicious Urdlenite set on destroying them both. A wild Benny Hill-like scene followed as the spell-spent duo ran in circles, shooting, reading emergency scrolls and dodging the mad gnome for dear life. Finally, with all potions drunk and near death's door, the Urdlen-gnome fell, and the jewelled hat was safe at last! It is usually kept hidden underneath Caramella's own large and mysterious hat, though she does love to flaunt it, especially to Perriwig who grows ever so envious.

Boots of Escape (Expedious Retreat 1/day, DM Predator) - after a successful mission to assist a fellow gnome inventor in repairing his airship, Caramella chose these nifty boots as her share of the reward. Flexing one's toes just so, sends the wearer hurtling forwards at breakneck speed. A good way to make a quick escape from stab-eager kobolds or murderous gnome-hunters - at least if one doesn't tend to trip on one's own feet in the rush.. Perhaps Caramella will get the hang of it in time!

    Character: Willow

    Class: Ranger/Cleric ( 1 / 13 )

Home and Location: Norwick (on paper)

    Town Position: None

    Guild/Organization: The Wolves of Narfell

    Custom Items:

Whip Of Willows - _This whip was enchanted for Willow in thanks for lending her assistance to the Silver Valley during the 'Manure Rain' incident. The gnomish enchanter tasked with making the gift thought himself clever and hilarious in enchanting a gift for Willow made of actual willow branches.

This whip is made of magically enchanted and hardened willow branches. Unfortunately the enchanting also gave the branches a mind of their own. They swing and sway from side to side often distracting the wielder or throwing them off balance. In a pinch the whip can be thrown at an enemy in the hope that it will entangle them in the mess of grasping branches._

((If you use the daily power for this item please immediately unequip it for the duration of the spell. DM MrNiceGuy 2/23/2013))

The Lash (whip) - This large barbed whip is often used to keep slaves in line, what its doing in Narfell, who knows? - DM Infernal

This vicious barbed whip packs a helluva punch, though the aim is not as precise nor is it able to disarm one's foe. But owww… The whip, alongside beautiful bands of ice and many other wonderous items, was gifted to Willow's party after they had helped an ice spirit reclaim its realm from Kossuth's influence, climbing a mountaintop in a pocketplane melting around them. It was an intense and sweaty climb, with several casualties along the way - but highly memorable!

Flail of Turning (light flail) - Willow's 'bluntie', aquired while assisting the Hornleaf family in retrieving some lost books, looks unremarkable at first glance, but seems quite effective around undead, as though especially designed for combatting such. Perhaps it inspires its weilder too, as Willow seems to turn the shambling things far more often while clutching the flail? It would look impressive, but for her awkward flailing of her holy symbol in the other hand… - DM Infernal

Mace of the Traveller - gifted to each party member who assisted dwarven monks in a perilous journey to the top of the Coldstones and back down, through hordes of snowgoblins, giants both live and undead and a not-so-happy dragon soaring above the party's heads… - DM Holy Stuipedness

Coral Bow - this lizardmen made bow is accurate and reliable, as well as rather pretty with its coral-like surface. It was recovered by Willow and her party in the Misty Caves during a big outbreak of goo, jellies, oozes and all things slimy… (DM Vanquish)

Peaceful Amulet of Discernment - _This amulet helps the wearer to be more aware of their surroundings, as well as gifting them with insight and discernment in all things, especially healing. The base of the amulet is made of brimstone though, and there are times when you would swear someone is watching you, even when you're alone…

Willow recovered the piece of brimstone from the kobold caves after they had been infested with demons, and found that by placing the brimstone on her chest, her desire for a new amulet materialised. Who knows what else the brimstone can do?_ - DM Skippy

Ice Band (ring) - This small shard of ice has been crudely fashioned into a small ring. Cold to the touch however once put onto a finger the wearer does not feel its chill. Given to the adventurers who saved the small ice-realm when it was invaded by creatures of Kossuth wishing to melt the land and turn it in to a barren, toxic heat-scorched land. The ring holds a small power to call upon the ice-spirits to fight the owner's foe. - DM Infernal

At the top of a crumbling mountain, Kossuth's champion fire elemental awaited the brave party who dared delve into the small ice realm, though before they even got that far, several party members had fallen prey to the flames. Once at the top, the fire elemental offered the ragged party a chance to turn sides and walk away unscathed, but the majority ruled differently and a desperate fight began. Eventually victorious, the party returned and the thankful ice spirit bestowed these rings of ice upon them, along with a fair few other interesting bits and bobs.

Hood of the Desert Dweller (Leather Helm) - A staple of those who wish to cross the sands and live, these hoods enhance the vision of the wearer (even in the dark) and keep them comfortable in extremes of heat or cold so that they don't dehydrate or freeze. Made of tanned and knitted camel hide, they're not very fashionable, but they will save your life. - DM Skippy - a Black Sails Shoppe item - purchased by Willow with a lot of scraping, saving, dungeoneering and a staggering loan from her good friend Elaine

Belt of the Passing Wind - _Found in the jungles of Chult on one of the fabled Star Harpy adventures, this belt once belonged to a wind walker of Shaundakul who was eaten by halfling cannibals when he got too close to their camp, small bite marks along the belt itself from the sharp little teeth of the halflings.

Fitting that the wind brought another faithful to find it.. let's hope they don't share the same fate._ - DM Prismatic - Star Harpy Adventure Item - Jungles of Chult (06/07/2013)

Gambler's Cloak - recovered by Willow, Shesarai, Trish and Silver from a cache of stolen goods in a bandit camp by the Scar, where their search for the pilfered books of the Hornleaf family had taken them. The cloak, originally a bright, flashy red and gold, has since been dyed to a more muted colour scheme, though the helpful acid protective qualities stays the same. It is said to have been enchanted by a Tymoran faithful, though whether it will prove lucky to wear, only time will tell. - DM Infernal

Cloak of the Angel - This appears to be a soft white cloak with gold trim. Upon close inspection, this cloak reveals it's true nature. The material is almost feathery soft, and very light. Wearing it makes one feel a bit closer to the gods. - DM Stuiped

This ultralight, pure white cloak with a gold trim flutters in the lightest of breezes, but its most marvellous secret is that when activated, it folds out into actual wings, allowing the wearer to soar high into the air and fly! Willow treasures this cloak so highly that she struggles daily to not spend all of it's magic playing sky-high leap frog… The cloak was recovered from a Yuan-ti stash of items on the far off island of the fabled Furred Icelace Dire Turtles, past the dread Lacedon Reef. Willow died in the final push against the wicked snake ladies, but can take solace in the party's successful rescue of the last two of the great furtles. She hopes to one day meet many little ones of their kind!

Senses of the Cat - The magic of these boots was specifically designed to detect incoming missiles and aid the wearer in avoiding them. They were originally commissioned by the instructor of an archery academy, who had tired of suffering "accidents" at the hands of his inexperienced students. - DM Stuiped

These curious boots also came from the daring furtle adventure, and are quite helpful for the clumpsier of clerics, certainly!

Beorn's Battlemail's Wire Armor - _This armor has been braided with lengths of steel wire rather than using linked chains or overlapping plates. The braided steel offers excellent protection against piercing attacks, but a bludgeoning attack would only indent the wire armor and harm the flesh beneath. The result of the steel wire is a lighter armor that provides a bit more mobility. This particular set is lined in bear fur and has tiny windchimes hanging off the ends of the wrist guards.

This specialized armor was made for Willow by Beorn Battlemail_

((Reskinned and Specialized Crafting Product - Masterworked Steel Breastplate - DM Prismatic))

Armor of Comfort - technically crossing the line into heavy armour, this amazing suit proved irresistable to the gravity-defying Windrider due to it being incredibly lightweight in nature. It also carries a faint scent of lavender and improves the healing skills of its wearer, hurrah! The armour was snatched from a terrifying mindflayer who kept a menagerie of beastly pets in the Ormpur tower, before being ousted by Willow & Co. ((DM Bloodyroar))

Draco'ga'naculos - This strange helmet resembles the claw of an enormous beast - because that's exactly what it is. Made of bone with a green scale patterning, the helmet is the once claw of an evil bone dragon, the dark driving force behind the many vile actions of the goblins of the Moldy Rat Tribe. Once defeated, nature's deities transformed parts of the crumbled bones into customized objects, placed before each and every one of those who fought the threat. Nica wears the helmet proudly, knowing she fought a long and hard battle against some of the most disgusting foes of her life so far. Poo golems…

Paws of the Moontouched Prowler - _This set of shoes is fabricated with a peculiar traditional style. Their design and velvety yet sturdy materials make them able to be worn both indoors and outoors, thanks to the solid sole and enclosed upper side. However, the general design hints that these are mostly meant to be worn when engaging in physical activities, and more specifically, when training or fighting.

While the design of these hand-made pieces retains a genuine beauty and comfort to them, there is more to them than it may seem. On a first glance it can be noted that the tips are decorated in a way that makes the shoes resemble the paws of a large feline, and the soles are padded as to soften the step, reducing the noise caused when walking in them significantly.

Examining further, it can be seen how in the upper side of each shoe there is a sigil with the background of a grassy forest encasing a cat paw. This is the seal of Elaine, who through the use of powerful enchanting magic has imbued these shoes to grant the wearer feline-like properties, granting her the ability to dodge both physical and magical attacks.

That is not that there is to them, however. A last touch of magic can be spotted only when the shoes are exposed to the moonlight. Then, and only then, a moon crest will shine across the sides of these shoes, which allow them to charge up with moonlight. Effectively, these shoes maintain themselves without need for washing or repairing them, and will never become worn out, for as long as they keep being exposed to the moonlight regularly.

A last touch can be seen across the fine line that joins the side of the shoes with the sole, an inscription that once again, is only revealed under the moonlight. When the inscription in both shoes is put together, it reads the following:

    Because being true friends is not thinking alike;
it's thinking so different, and still loving each other._

((Elaine Xixia Rayfe Item Enchantment - Februari 2014))

Nica's Third Eye - _This golden ring has several opals set into the outer band, the one spot lacking an opal instead has a small engraving in it, the shape of an eye peering out from the gold, the pupil of the engraved eye a small moonstone.

Along the inner part of the ring are simple words in common. "May you have true sight, sister."_

((Jonni Aelthasson Item Enchantment - February 26/2014))

Istia's Ring - This platinum ring was recovered from the 222th layer of the Abyss, home of all things slimey and gelatinous, on a mission to cleanse a holy artifact of Kelemvor. While the aim of the mission proved successful, the head-over-heels panic of trying to leave the plane had unfortunate results. Nica's own prevailing impression of it all is Istia's Pool, with pristine clear water in the midst of all the filth, watched over for eternity by a solemn female figure believed to be Istia herself.

Huntmaster's Ring of Praying - One of the Huntmaster's rings, this one allowed him to endure the vicious attacks of his sworn enemy: Necromancy, allowing him to convert the negative energy into a ray of divine light! However, just wearing the ring is now draining, as the accumulated negative energy in the ring seeps into the wearer's hand, even if covered by a glove. ((DM UI 22/01/2014))

Sartan'linoraxgardis' Ring of Defense - Found wrapped around one of Sartan'linoraxgardis' toes, after the fierce battle agaisnt him and his cohort, Vilarah'xitria'nosima. This "ring" is perfectly sized to be worn around the waist of an averagely built human.

Surprisingly enough, this magical item is capable of transferring its magical properties to the wearer, whether it is worn in one way or another, and using it as a belt will still protect the frail human body as it would the tough scaled dragon hide. [DM Bloodyroar - The Mor'salen, Vault of the Ancients]

Starfall Mantle - This cloak appears to be made of the fabric of the cosmos itself, as if a piece of nightsky had fallen in the shape of a mantle which can be worn as a cloak.

The mantle of stars seems to defy all known physical laws, as it appears to be a kind of portable dimension itself, stretching the limits of reality. For example, attempting to stab the cloak with a blade will make the blade simply vanish through it, and appear through the other end later than it should be logical, effectively cutting the blade's length by a couple feet. This makes the cloak especially efficient at avoiding piercing and stabbing attacks, though not so much other type of attacks that work their way around the cloak, rather than through it.

Besides that, the stars across the cloak are in constant movement, orbitting, rearranging themselves. They seem to represent the mood of the wearer, and can very much mold and adapt to her will, either shining brightly, or goes dark and distant to enhance the wearer's ability to remain unseen and unheard.

Once per night cycle, the cloak's eternal night can be summoned to envelope the wielder into a shroud of darkness and mystery, making her almost impossible to spot while the effect lasts.

As a gift from the Red Knight to Nica alone, this item is bound to her soul, and can not be taken away from her. [DM Bloodyroar - The Mor'Salen - War of the Nexus - Finale]

Moonmaiden's Beacon (gloves) - blue with silver spikes, these gloves once belonged to the Selunite priestess Lena Light, and were given to Nica by her friend Paul Gend for the successful vanquishing of the nameless lich their party failed to slay long ago. Besides being efficient fighting gloves with an extra sting for Selune's enemies, the Moonmaiden's blessing upon the gloves ensures that its wearer will always find their way in even the darkest of night. By joining one's hands together, the silvery spikes on the back of the gloves form the starstudded symbol of Selune, coaxing forth moonlight. ((DM UI))

The Piercers (gloves) - This pair of monk gloves have large spikes coming out from their knuckles. You could easily pierce a wood log with it, but the spikes do also have one sharp edge that you may use to slice your enemies. - DM Paella

These spiked gloves are the foremost piece of good equipment found during Nica's own adventuring, snatched from an orcish treasure trove after the defeat of some peculiar ghostly orcs and the shaman who created them.

Blessed Gloves of Constant Motion - Once belonging to the famous monk Marie Scuttlestone, these gloves were passed on to the warrior-monk Shallyah before she in turn bestowed them onto Nica, with the urging to use them with wisdom, courage and honour. They have since become Nica's first choice in fighting gloves, for the extra punch they so accurately pack. After her involvement in thwarting Garagossans from defiling the shrine of the Red Knight, the gloves bear an additional blessing.

Gloves of the Sun Soul +2 - these fine gloves lack any spikes or reinforcement to the knuckles, yet set off a small zap of lightning when their wearer hits her target - and wearing them, she is more likely to land a direct hit. Nica came into possession of the gloves after assisting with closing a demonic portal in the gnoll Dens, fighting such horrific beings as Obyriths and Bebiliths for the very first time.

Fa Kuan Kama - This blade gives off a very warm feeling of justice, and as such may only be used by those who follow the path of Law and Goodness. The runes, roughly translated from Shou, read: "May restless souls find their Way to peace." ((DM UI - Feb 12, 2014))

Recovered from Arnath itself on an extremely hazardous journey in search of a certain necromancer's lair, this kama has since found good use in Nica's hands.

Moonsilver Kama - purchased from Nuwairah, who found it while adventuring. Nica, having a fondness for all things related to her faith, could not resist the offer of buying the kama, though dual-weilding such things is not in her training.

Inferno Shot (light crossbow) - This greatly burnt bow was once a great and feared weapon, yet over-use has casued great damage to this device and only a minor enchantment has clung to this wreck of a bow. - DM Infernal

The first item of note that Nica's own adventuring efforts brought is this curious crossbow. The aim is fairly well balanced, but the real surprise is the fiery magic it holds, able to set one's foe (or oneself, unless careful) aflame. The crossbow originally belonged to a very large kobold, intent on murdering gnomish mage Jimmeh and the hinnish gardener Martoushca. Nica and gnomish cleric Gilda arrived just in time to save the day, and Jimmeh's bacon!

Selune's Daughter: The Traveler (female): _This light weight female armor bears the logo of the Wilting Flower Adulte Toye Shoppe, and a gnomish name that is probably that of the crafter. The Mother Goddess watches us each night, her presence ever constant even if her attention seems to come and go. As Selune's servant, you are ever errant, ever vigilant, guiding others to faith even as the moon guides the stars of heaven.

Long the only friend and guide of the night-time sailor, Selune is the matron of travelers and pilgrims. Ever moving toward discovery and faith, you are the swift messenger of the Mother's message. Providing a light amount of protection, Selune's Daughter: The Traveler is more designed for the woman who wants to get places fast and safe. Speed on, girl!_

Purchased by Nica herself at a Waukeenar holiday in a shopping spree fit to gladden the godess of commerce's heart.

Shinobi Shozoku - Shinobi Shozoku is one of the most widely known tools of the Kara-turan shadow warriors known as "Ninja".

The attire includes a set of slightly loose pants, an open shirt with one side folded over the other to close the gap, a shash and usually a special hood and mask to conceal the shadow warrior's face. In some cases like this one, the hood is attached and is part of the shash, which allows the wearer to choose whether to wear the hood or not.

Despite common belief, most of the time this attire is woven in dark blue colours, for strange as it may seem, the shadows and the night favour this colour more than black itself, which tends to give out a dim gleam in situations of very low visibility.

((In order for this piece of equipment to retain its properties, its appearance or colours can't be altered)) [DM Bloodyroar]

Nica's reward after clearing out some particularily nasty constructs and their death knight commander in the Lost City is this midnight blue set of clothing, designed for stealth and mobility.

Body (amulet) - after a risky infiltration into a Garagossan stronghold, the party were rewarded for their efforts by the Red Knight clergy, who created fine amulets to strengthen body and mind. Nica, whose fighting technique rests firmly on the two being one, chose body after some agonized consideration. ((DM Bloodyroar))

Moon's Tear - a rare and magical blue gem shaped like a teardrop, which glows when held, increasing the the owner's sense of awareness for a brief time. This beautiful stone was given to Nica by Ali ibn Baba for her efforts in investigating the death of his father and staving off the Zhentarim threat.

Moon Princess' Song - from the Glorious Evolution finale, in which Nica kicked the butt of many a construct and "augmented" being. The song sheet's magic helps protect her allies from magic, though Nica only ever mumbles the words… ((DM Bloodyroar))

Axe of the Dragonslayer (dwarven waraxe) - after defeating the lightning-swift Garrick, sole survivor of the original Eastlander bandit top brass and the leading figure behind the undead return of that same scourge, Disa and her group faced a twisted dragon, said to be the spawn of Rass herself, though tainted by undeath.

This shining axe, alongside other dragonslaying equipment, was found in the great beast's belly after its defeat. Having recently slain a small green dragon - and had tattletails inform the white dragon Ky about it - Disa thought it prudent to help herself to as many parts of said equipment as she could manage. - DM Stuiped

Dragonslayer Armor (fullplate) - Disa's first pick of the undead Eastlanders final hoard, this armour protects her well, especially against draconic foes. - DM Stuiped

Twisted Spawn Necklace (amulet) - this strange looking necklace comes from the twisted dragon felled in the final strike towards the undead Eastlander menace. It serves Disa well in her continued fighting against all manners of foes. - DM Stuiped

Portable Wall (towershield) - large and protective, though quite cumbersome, this shield was found on one of Disa's dwarven gang's first outings to the Howling Woods.

Duergar Tower Shield - While not as protective as her first shield, this one has other perks such as providing a good cover against arrows and piercing weapons. Part of the treasure recovered from the Cave O' Doom (Undead Eastlanders). - DM Stuiped

Omox Helm - this grotesque helmet resembles the head of an omox demon, usually found in the 222th layer of the Abyss. Ever practical Disa purchased it at the chest shoppe in the Peltarch Marketplace, finding merit in its magical properties.

The Grinder (warhammer) - purchased from Anna Blake.

Talos' Gift (boots) - keeps a very earthbound dwarf from being electrocuted. Part of the treasure recovered from the Cave O' Doom (Undead Eastlanders). - DM Stuiped. Currently on loan to Glophin Shattershield.

Divine Wrap (cloak) - purchased at the Norwick General Store. Aside from the helpful qualities in strengthening the wearers willpower, Disa was drawn to the solid grey colour of the cloak, finding it somehow reassuring.

Ring of the Princes - Disa's first ever piece of jewellry. Being a ring designed for a man, it fit her stubby finger well enough and is a helpful piece of equipment in more ways than one. Part of the treasure recovered from the Cave O' Doom (Undead Eastlanders). - DM Stuiped. Gifted to Bufflin mac Barik.

Ring of the Giant Kuo Toa (real name to be edited in) - on a trip into the kuo toa caverns, Disa and Bufflin were greeted by taunting signs and repeated ambushes by the fishmen, lead by a particularily large and strong champion. After much cussing, gritting of teeth and blood lost, the stubborn dwarves got the killing blow in and recovered two matching rings from the fishman's hands, taking one each for their own trophies.

Band of Broken Giants - after a giant (in both senses of the word) fight on the Icelace Beach, Disa and her party of fellow dwarves (+ Sheserai) defeated their red-skinned war chieftain and stole the ring from his finger. Then a drink-off followed, of equally gargantuan measure, to determine who would win the prize… it's assumed Disa was the last dwarf standing, though in fairness, no one remembers the exact details... - DM Squirrelcaster

    Other Equipment:

Fine Dwarven Waraxe (+1) - aquired from the remains of scores upon scores of fishmen swarming Disa and her squishy rogue side-kick
Eastlander Heavy Armour (fullplate +1) - aquired after a solo rescue mission into a dank cave with undead Eastlanders (Cave o' Doom, part I). Now in Divine Shield storage.
Archer's Wrist - while Disa would rather take a warhammer to the face than use a bow, these protective wristbands have some merit in her eyes
Amulet of Natural Armour (+1) - purchased from Alvaniel
Boots of Hardiness (+1) - a gift from the hin monk Sugoc after the Undead Eastlanders final defeat, the monk having aquired Garrick's own footwear.

    Custom Items:

A Cold Comfort - Here is a cloak for the pensive poet: loss and despair can be beautiful, but they remain tragic.

It is said that this cloak was worn by the baroness of an ancient manor in distant lands. She was a cold, cruel mistress, and she mistreated her servants and friends until they left her alone. However, the story goes on to claim that she fell in love with a tall, dark, and mysterious man who appeared in her manor one night. The two romanced for weeks, until she discovered that the man was a manifestation of her own malice, and she only loved herself.

That is the story, anyway. She died a mysterious, inexplicable death in her own bed. There is a small purple "C" engraved in the back of the cloak's folds. [DM Xanatos Gambit]

Eket en'Megilindar - this elven-styled rapier appears to have belonged, perhaps, to a Spellblade. In the right hands however it becomes more apparent that the weapon might have belonged to something more akin to a Bladesinger order. It's uncommon - even unheard of to find such blades among n'Tel'Quessir! The rapier was recovered amidst various stolen goods taken from a mage's enclave, attacked by raiders. ((DM Braveheart))

Protective Axe Charm - this axe is traditionally too small for most warriors to bear to battle, it has a small chain loop around the handle so that it can be worn at a warrior's side. Perhaps this is designed to be more of a worn charm than an actual weapon? ((DM_Braveheart: 4/23/2016))

Ring of the Princes - recovered from a small treasure trove deep in the Cold Caves in the company of Cormac, Lunia and Nuwairah.

The One Ring - The One Ring is a magnificient ring, imbued with powerful magic. However, it's not quite as good as The Two Ring.
The ring originates from an unusual rescue mission, where Isolde & Co sprung a vampire from the clutches of a peculiar foe called the Ink Master, during the siege of Peltarch. [DM Bloodyroar]

Crescendo Ever-After (ring) - [DM Xanatos Gambit]

The Fair Lady - given to Isolde by a fan (Braullius Fandir of House Fandir), this necklace appears to be a family heirloom, or a similar piece of jewelry of great value. Not only that, this beautiful, gem-encrusted necklace is enchanted to greatly enhance the wearer's magnetism and splendor.

[DM Bloodyroar - The War of the Nexus]

Aesso's Enigma (bracers) - [DM Xanatos Gambit]

Belt of Annoyance - a magical belt that not only enhances the user's ability to annoy and distract enemies, but also enhances the user's ability to flee from the enemy once their attention has been drawn. Purchased at river captain Sticks' auction.

Greater Polar Boots - warm and softly padded, gifted to Isolde by Laireel, the meer-creature, after a very fiery mission. [DM Bloodyroar]

Military Scout Chain - recovered from a vicious raider strike on a mage's enclave, this armour offers increased protection while still catering to the desire to sometimes go unseen. ((DM Braveheart))

Anhur's Storm (armour) - this is a typical garb for an acolyte of Anhur. Includes a breastguard shaped in the figure of a lion, and a collar, as well as a linen skirt known as a kalasiris and sandals laced to knee height. This suit comes usually matched with a headdress.

This particular set seems to have belonged to a remarkable warrior of the sands, and has been blessed to be usable only by those with the right mindset. The armour was originally imported from Mulhorand by the Black Sails merchant Scarlet, purchased by the hin Silhouette before Isolde took it over, on condition of many, many downpayments. ((no reskins))

Witch Hunter's Helm - A helmet as worn by witch-hunters who require certain skills and protections when confronting wicked sorcerers and forest hags. ((DM_Braveheart: 5/12/16))

    Other Equipment:

Raider - the loveliest of shortbows from Narfell's past. A gift from Nate
Ironwood Shield - filched from fallen Garagossan Soldiers
Sling +1 - from a stealthy mission for a certain Aesso
Ring of Chameleon x2 - one purchased, one found
Ring of Crystal (from Nate, in exchange for Isolde's ring of Autumn)
Scout Crossbones - from a rescued wanna-be-hero captured by orcs
Medal of Valour (from the Siege of Peltarch)
