Rebuilding the crafting area
-
The first person to visit the crafting area sees:
Mog dressed in his work clothes is found in a kneeling position before the anvil in the newly built crafting area with his head, shoulders, and right arm sprawled across the anvil. His left hand clutches a holy symbol of Moradin quite firmly. He is quite unresponsive and quite cold to the touch.
-
Now that useful…..::looks in awe then at his own hands:: Mog mom always said Mog should work with hands
-
_Oreth nods at Mog's reasoning, and begins chanting softly to himself, waving his hands to pull large deposits of shaped stone up out of the ground, and reshape broken wooden platforms and planks into whole ones, starting with the blacksmith's platform. He works for a while, rarely actually touching materials or tools, but at the end of the day looks summarily exhausted nonetheless.
That said, he returns again the next day and resumes the work_
-
Mog is seen working on getting the forge, anvil, and crucible in place. WHen asked why he merely states.
'Mog can make tools to help work on other areas with crucible, hard make nails in tanning vat'
::chuckles;:
-
As an Elder, I will back Melanie on this. The equipment should be open to all.
-
Mog is seen bringing in bags of various tools to be used in the new crafting area both in construction and for when it is done.
-
- Foilir smiles and puts away his coin purse *
"Well done lass.. Well done.. But yeh will excuse me from bein cautious dat deh tools will be open to all non camp members… After all, yeh is but juss one camp elder...
Anna me knows how yeh all hate havin strangers juss stomp through yeh camp... "
- Foilir smiles and walks off *
" <d>Saved me a bit of coin... Yeh have no idea how much me would ave paid teh shut deh traps of Strauss anna Belade..."
- Chuckling he walks towards Peltarch *</d>

After a bloodied Melanie entered Cera's tree and emerged later that night, she makes an announcement.
As my first act as an elder of this camp. I am glad to say the required gold has been donated for the rebuilding of the "crafting" equipment.
No one person or organisation lays claim to the equipment. The inner camp will remain open to all, as will access to the equipment.
If you have any questions feel free to ask Cera, myself or others soon to be.
-
Once Tala and Susurro enter the woods, a dark cloaked, and hooded elf is seen to step from the trees. After a brief talk he is seen giving blessings on Susurro leaving him standing a little taller and moving a little easier. The elf helps while they are in the woods, but fades back into the trees when they get close to camp.
-
Lilin shows Mog where all the crafting spots where and explains as best she can how they were laid out (She does a decent job at the woodworking spot, less so at metal, even less than that at tanning)
-
::Mog is seen visiting the site often taking measurements and clearing debris. He accepts all help offered and tries to get the camp members to give their input into what they want done and how they want it to look. Rough sketches and drawings of the plans are posted nearby the site.::

@b65e4955e3=elor_danna:
All help is appreciated, as long as you don't try to control it for yourself, like you do with all the other ones.
- Foilir hears of Belades comment to Mog and laughs*
"me personally paid teh help restore dose anvils anna forges afore… to no personal gain.. Bite yeh tongue lass..
As fer dis craftin area bein open to all.."
- Looks around at the remnants of the walls and where the guards used to check papers and prevent non members from entering*
"...right.... seem teh me yeh has to be un member of der group teh get inside dese walls....
...anna yet, me nae see dat Strauss feller wit his armor all up his arse about dat..."
chuckles and walks off
"..oh if yeh need coin... just ask... deh Dolvaks will be more den happy teh donate what dey cen agin, at no personal gain..."
-
Lilin speaks
"If Mog has offered his help, we should take it. We all want to preserve the natural state of the camp as much as we can, because that's one of the reasons we all loved it before… so if the crafting facilities are rebuilt, they won't be inside a structure, so the union couldn't really control it anyway. And on top of all that, Mog has alot of integrity about things like that.""Don't let the adversities and problems of the cities overwhelm us."
Lilin goes back to sloshing around in the river, making sure that there are gnoll parts left to poison the water
-
::smiles::
Mog ask no start this argument. Mog just offering help. Mog have stated why Mog offering help.
::shrugs::
-
All help is appreciated, as long as you don't try to control it for yourself, like you do with all the other ones.
-
::Mog stops in at the GC on one of his numerous trips.::
Mog sure all the Union members that members of the camp will be more than happy to fix the camp crafting facilities at no cost to the camp. Union will even offer whatever aid the camp needs to get the site running and Mog will even see about sending some masters here to train.
Mog and Union have always appreciated Union camp members and look forward to lending a hand to help their homes get back on their feet.

tala spends time helping master Susurro, watching the way his hands move across the wood and moving heavy things for him.
-
Dentin, on one of his regular "pilgrimages" to the almost-completely-destroyed shrine takes note of the renewed interest in the crafting area. He goes to look for whoever is responsible for rebuilding that particular part of the camp, offering his services (and gold) and asking a few questions as well, in particular what kind of crafting equipment will be brought in. And whether the area will be open to all crafters, or will it be a closed area?
-
A wrinkled white haired human sets a ludicrous looking pack down near the destroyed wood workers area. He limps back and forth across the area a few times muttering quietly. Letting out a loud guffaw, he announces to no one in particular
Guess we got us a wee bit o work to do.
Pulling an axe from his pack, he sets to making a travois, pausing often to flex hands gnarled from years of hard labor. After a brief rest he smiles broadly and shoulders the straps of the travois, heading south.

//we all do, and thus will have to do so then
