[Message adressed to the attention of the Council of Jiyyd]
-
_To the Esteemed Council of the Commonwealth of Jiyyd,
Sir Undon,
I, Shane Andryl, rightful citizen of this fair community, send you this word in regards to the current matters at hand concerning our citizens.
In regards to the ghoullish affliction that haunts the wellfare of our citizens, I have been informed of possible ways in which afflictees could be cured. I urge you to take this matter well into account, and to inform the citizens of this within due time, so they may look upon this with hope of salvation.
It has been brought to my attention that afflictees found in still an early state of this plague, could still be aided by the curings which Faith delivers. In more a more advanced state of this afflictions, subjects can find aid and shelter within the walls of the Kelemvorite Temple.
In order to confine the spreading of this disease within our fair town, I would advise to taking following measures:
Night patrols should be increased within the town to contain any problem at once. Panick is growing amongst the citizens, I fear that within short time this may grow worse. Several citizens have already taken up arms themselves in safeguarding the town, however, it can not be allowed that this behavior would turn into vigilantees.
Regular checks should be made upon the citizenry. I would propose to edict that all citizens confer with good Vroka and Finnius every day upon the start of morning to receive attention and ensure they remain within good health. Any citizens found with afflictions should be dealt with at once.
Any citizens found afflicted, and unwilling to comply, should be placed into custody, under the watchful eye of our guards, until a cure can as well be administered.
All in all, steps should be taken to inform the people of the exact nature of this disease and it's symptoms, both to locate infectees much sooner, and to ensure that events like the most consternating case of the poor Julia will not occur again.
As always, I am certain that the Temple of Helm will be able to provide adequate assistance in ensuring the safety of our citizens.
Remaining in faith, in service to the citizens of Jiyyd,
[signed and sealed]
Shane Andryl,Knight of Cormyr,
Servant to Helm._
