    The Beginning
Aerandir and Thea are Llewyrr (wild elves) from the small Isle of Moray.

    Moray
The most untamed of the southern islands, rocky and foreboding Moray has a coast riven with deep fjords and clear bays. A wide variety of unpleasant creatures roam its broken wilds, but the natives of the island have more than proven that they can deal with the monsters, or anything else, when the need arises. Having little to do with the civilizing influence of the Sword Coast, the people of Moray are known for being almost as wild as the isle they call home.” (http://scratch.heretical.net/Turning-Sourcebook-Moonshaes.htm)

    The Llewyrr
The Llewyrr are elves, but only in the broadest sense. Reputedly, the Llewyrr have been on the Moonshaes since the islands rose from the sea, and it is said their spirits are deeply entwined with the very essence of the land.
Although the Llewyrr allegedly inhabit almost all of the islands, they are rarely seen by human eyes. For this reason, most foreigners believe them to be nothing more than a myth. Only the druids of the Ffolk can claim to interact with them with any real frequency, but even that interaction is kept limited, and it takes place only in the Myrloch Vale, on the island of Gwynneth. According to stories, the sacred valley is very close to Synnoria, the place these fey folk call home.
The Llewyrr are smaller than other elves, reaching heights no taller than 5 feet. They have skin ranging from bronze to dark brown in colour. Their hair can be blonde, coppery-red, or a deep chestnut hue. Eyes can be green, topaz, gold, or hazel. They enjoy wearing jewelry and other adornments, and also frequently sport elaborate tattoos”

Friends almost since birth the two young Llewyrr were nearly inseperable as they grew up. Aerandir, born the bastard son of the groves’ Druid-King saw visions of another time which he did not understand. A time when the circles of the druids lie in ruin. Visions of great pillers and sphiers in their place. Visions of great dragons in the air and gliding on stone gobbling all in their path. His father - a wise king - recognized some validity in the visions of his bastard son. He believed the visions to be related to the expansion of the human cities and the taming of the lands. He felt that these visions were linked to the warlike stance that accompanied this taming. He decided then to send his son to study these kingdoms, to learn of their movements. To walk within the camp of what the Druid-King could only imagine as an approaching enemy to his kingdom. With only the name of an ancient druid circle “Quercatha Terr” and his visions to guide him, Aerandir and his companion and dearest friend Thea set off to the mainland. Together they shall learn of these humans, their cities and these strange lands. Together they will gather the information that will help them to understand these “visions” and return with the prophecies to the druid-king.

    The Journey
The Druid-King arranged for courah’s to take the two from the island of Moray to Gwynnth. When they reached Gwynnth passage was arranged upon the merchant ship, Red Raider. The journey was slow despite favorable winds. Three months passed on the ship, the two elves longing for land when they arrived in Daggerford. It was there the adventure truely began.

Two weeks were spent about the town as the two adventurer’s resupplied and planned the next stage of their journey - a walk along the River Delimbiyr to the hamlets of Loudwater and Llokh. It was in the second of the hamlets that they spent the remainder of their gold to hire Dimbi Doolitle to guide them through the Greypeak Mountains and the Lonely Moor.

They joined a caravan of traders then on the Black Road and the Empire of Shadows within the Anaurock desert. Trading stories of their adventures and their homeland and minor blessings of the land in exchange for the knowledge of where to draw water. It was during this time that Aerandir became proficient in the curved blade of the dessert people and as a gift for saving the life of one of the camels that had gone lame was given such a blade himself.

They left the caravan then at Dagger Falls near the edge of the boarder forest and followed its edge to the Citidal of the Raven. Before once more walking a mile in the moccassins of a merchant along the Long road, through the Giantspire Mountains and Narfell.
