[Before you is a dark, ocean-blue book. The cover is simple, but smooth and clean; decorated with seven pearl white stars. There is a neatly folded, dark red cloth page-marker escaping the books pages.]
Entry 1.
_I've recently arrived in the city of Peltarch, Narfell. It isn't at all like Waterdeep. At least, the people here arent. The strangest thing happened today. I never thought people could be so rude. I was running a few errands for the local merchants, in hopes to gain their favor should I run into any ecomonical problems; when I ran into a wounded bunch that had apparently ran into a load of undeath beneath the city, in the sewers. This, disturbingly enough, was just outside the Bard's shops.
A few more undead ogres and ghouls crawled from the sewer grate, but the group thankfully managed to fend them off. I asked the one who seemed like the leader, a bald fellow with the symbol of The Lady on his armor, if I could sever a knuckle from one of the undead creatures for study, research and scrying. I had planned to turn the results in, to the authorities, once more to gain a bit more repute in the city. He responded in a harsh manner and said 'no,' a great deal of times. He seemed a little stressed. I suppose I shouldn't blame him for his manners, after what he had allegedly been put through. I'm just glad the ordeal is over._
