The Minotaurs in Camp.

    • After some dull rumbles and a brief shaking of the ground toward the gnoll held areas bordering the lands north and west of the gypsy camp, an unlovely horn - blowing a note not beofre heard in the days before the Gnoll incursion. This note was different, faster and more desperate perhaps, and within an hour of the rumbles being heard gnolls were seen spilling toward the bridge. Fighting in the gnoll held areas was heard in the distance for a while before they emerged from the trees -

    • Gypsy Camp guards and archers as well as camp locals and some visiting adventurers soon joined in the defence, but then the gnolls started to mass dangerously. The gnolls seemed to be in disarray even prior to their arrival at the bridge and some bore wounds. When it was looking that the defenders were not going to hold the bridge four towering figures - Minotaurs burst from the Treeline in pursuit of the gnolls cutting many of them in two with crude swords and axes and tossing many still alive into the crevasses below. After the minotaurs fought off the gnolls as they re-inforced to fight them the gnolls withdrew to lick their wounds -

    • Strangely the minotaurs, them all recognisable as those who once were found in the Ogre-held cold caves below. They still wore shattered manacles on their arms and legs, and soon a small elf (Brynhildr) was speaking to them as the Minotaurs did not seem inclined to attack those who were not Gnolls -

    • What was said to the huge beasts was only heard by those who were there, including one who called forth the power of a shaman. He summoned creatures to attack the gnolls and poured firey blasts into the dog faced creatures. Whether the tale of what was said to them would be recounted, still remains to be seen. -

    • Soon they were leaving the camp - even givin food for the journey, escorted by the camp dwellers into the nars pass, moving with them through the valleys and high passes toward the north -

(( OOC NOTE: The Minotaurs are no longer in the Cold Caves, the DM's will limbo them if we remember - please do not engage them if they have not been limboed, instead contact a DM to do so.))

(( I would advise all players to contact a DM prior to heading to those caves in order to maintain consistency of this plotline ))

A few years later, minotaurs once again approach the camp, this time from the southern roads accompanied by adventurers from the surrounding towns.

The camp folk having heard of the lack of violence before when minotaurs emerged blood spattered and cleaved from the Gnoll lands bordering the camp, look shocked by the dozen or so minotaurs accompanying the adventurers.

Soon their massive bulks were crossing the bridge to gnoll areas, and to those that did not see it the sound was deafening, the gnolls surprised the outlying campfires and crude tentage as well as scores of gnoll warriors slain before reinfocements were sent in from the deep.

Leaving, one particularly ragged and dirty minotaur who spoke simple common took time to scrawl and carve a minotaur-like face in the gates leading to the gnoll lands smearing the engraved figure with the blood from a dead gnolls head.

Soon, the Minotaurs left the area, some climbing the cliffs with massive strength and ease despite their size and others leaving for other areas.
