    Goals and Motivations
    Since an early age he has wanted to follow his family’s path - living the life of an Elven Ranger but his connection with nature was no deeper than your average elf (still much greater than most races of course). He could not seem to make the same connection to nature and the wilds as they could. His efforts to change this made things worse – he become superficially pious and ceremonial.

    In his frustration he turned his time to learning what skills he could achieve of the Rangers life such as the arts of stealth, trapping and the like. Being quite an adept student and being naturally gifted his study reaped rewards and he started to exceed his brothers and sisters at more technical arts such as trapping and lock-smithing.

    It is a tradition in Caldor’s family to craft your own Longbow which is part of the rite of passage of a Ranger from his village. In his misguided zeal Caldor has vowed to not fire an arrow from a longbow until he can make one with his own hands making do with a short bow in the meantime.

    Caldor has come to Narfell to seek the means (coin) and training to learn how to craft a very special longbow.

    He continues to pursue his dreams of being a skilled ranger and being at one with Nature despite his inability to truly achieve it.
