A small sign written in a neat and perfunctory hand is posted in several locations about the town, near the Bard College, near the town library, and in a few locations in the docks:
Lt. Hjoichi Olsen of the Far Scouts is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Staff Sergeant. The successful candidate will have exceptional ability with encryption (magical and non-magical preferred) as well as excellent research skills.
