From the book of Lucidious: The demon attack upon jiyyd
I watched in horror as a huge demon creature, easily the size of a house, rampaged about the long road to jiyyd. Adventurers attempted to slow the creature, but their weapons could not pierce its demonic hide. Rix, the hin with absolutely no understanding of the concept of fear, took to the shadows and did what she could to help against the demon threat. The creature eventually broke though the gates of Jiyyd destroying everything in its path. Horrified, I could do nothing but stand by and watch the destruction. Then, from out of nowhere, General Grag appeared and leapt into combat with the beast. After a fierce fight the creature lay dead in the square of Jiyyd.
Many others were wounded and several killed that day. The origin of the demon is unknown. Meanwhile, the undead continue to plague Jiyyd and Norwick. These are dark times for us all.
