    Crome grew up far from Narfell in a mountaineous region within echoing chamber in an Underdark Dwarven kingdom known as Oghrann. One day as Crome was out mining with his uncle a Giant attack occurred in which the chieftan of the giants murdered both of Crome's parents with a single massive swing of his club. Upon return to his home and the discovery of his dead parent Crome swore to avenge them and hunt the giant responsible down. Crome donned his fathers specially crafted armour and battle axe and left on his search. Partnering up with a gypsy caravan to aid his weary feet and speed up his travel things were looking bright for Crome until that night, as he sat at the fire cooking a hunk of meat, that he felt a sharp pain to his head.

    Waking days later and alone on a dreary rainy day, shivering and confused, Crome realized that not only was he left in nothing but his loin cloth, all his possessions had been taken. His memory had left him as well with only a few memories of where approximately he was and the fact that he was travelling with the Caravan left to him. As he proceeded to travel aimlessly, the memories of his youth all the way up to their brutal slaying returned to him but alas no other memories. All of his skill in fighting over the past few years lost to him. His abilities were that of himself as a young lad picking up a small axe for the first time!

    Crome realized that he would need to put his hunt for the giant chieftan on hold until he could retrain himself and rebuild his equipment back up to that of a great fighter like he once was. In this process his journey brought him to Jiyyd. Rumour had it Jiyyd was not far from a few giant realms where his prey might be found. Becoming a citizen of Jiyyd for the time being, Crome is determined to re-train and re-educate himself to one day be formidable enough to hunt down, and lop the head off the giant chieftan he has sought!
