The South Gates have fallen

Word spreads quickly through Norwick that after a massive battle between brave Norwick citizens and a mass horde of Goblins flanked by Umberhulks… that the South Gates have been destroyed. No guards were to be found anywhere and are presumed dead. The brave adventurers were average fighters and nothing special but amazingly through persistence were able to take down half a dozen umberhulks, over a dozen goblin casters, a couple goblin shamans and a supporting cast of goblin archers, elites, soldiers and bashers!!
Some of the names of adventurers being passed around were Calendel, Wolf, Kaliya, Naiya, and several others. Through their persistence, and many cleric healings performed, these braves souls risked life and limb in the greater cause of Norwick. Unfortunately, the goblins casters spells pounding at the gates while the adventurers caught their breath behind them was just too much and the gates came crashing down around them quickly followed by an onslaught of enemies pushing through. The fight moved as far into Norwick as the Phoenix Guild Hall but was pushed back until every last goblin and Umberhulk was either dead or fled!!
//Thank-you to whichever DM it was that threw this at us... I think almost every pc involved was on the verge of death at least 5+ times throughout it!//

Callain is seen to be leaving after the battle, covered in mixed blood, his own and goblin. When stopped, he mutters about idiots and opening gates during a goblin attack and then moves on north with an annoyed naiya, inspecting his torn tunic

Seeing as the gates have been felled, an extra watch is orderd to the breech until repairs are complete. Regular milita double patrols to the area and the Lt. can be seen standing along side the regular guard ensuring those involved remain vigilant until the repair is completed. Food and ale are regularly deliverd to the gates from the barracks to keep the workers happy and full.

Milla has been seen wandering near the broken gate, guarding it for a while. After some time, she as been seen running to Jiyyd, with an elven friend, looking for information because she didn't find any in Norwick. The city was dead empty. An heavily armed Elf named Alvar went to investigate on the probability of another charge after having heard the news from Milla's words.
