Commotion at the docks: Pirates

A pair of very large, well armed Seafarer trading vessels limp into port. They are covered in burn marks, arrows, and several dead bodies are unloaded. One is a full 9 feet lower in the water than it should be and lists to one side. The other is missing half it's masts.
Rumors around the dock's district say that Damaran pirates hit the Seafarer ships as they were bringing food in from Hoarsgate. Four ships in total attacked the three Seafarers trade galleys. Two of the pirate ships were destroyed and one of the trade galleys sank.

Aarron has been seen approaching the Guards and speaking with them on occasion asking about what happened.

The Seafarers have guards surrounding the ships and will not let people aboard.

Strauss, Defender Engineer, spends full days aboard and around the crippled ships, gathering what information he can on the extend of the damage.

Shannon D'Arneau can be seen inspecting the hull breaches on the ships, attempting to determine the gauge and make of the cannon balls which bombarded them. (apparently from a distance)
