The last of his kind.... The exiled of the exodus

  • The Halfling Defence League

Rumours has it a few survivors, heirs of the elven encampment still lives… Such as the famous Lyte, captain of the legion. But here's a tale of another one, though not as famous, just an ordinary elf, with a twisted tale of his very own, an exile amongst the exile.

Who have seen him? Hardly any.
He lives admist so deep, amongst the greeny
Both the trees, so tall and still
    and the spiders, ever clittery

So sad so teary, ever melancholy
is the one, exiled from his homeland
because of a wrong, that happened not of his doing
but no one will know, it will hide in history
for "the people" once were, is ever taken

strong and bold, "the people" were
with eyes so sharp, and bows ever wary
a strong leader, rethor he be
alas so ineffective, against the fiends of fiery

certainly fate is cruel, what an irony
that this exile who lives, becomes exiled again
when the song of the romani, is ended abruptly
the king slain, his people scattered
will he ever find a home? the exile of many

He scribbles the cruel poem, upon a cave wall of a cave high up in the ridges of the woods of the gypsies. For he lives high admist the trees, now ever more the melancholy.
