Driders!

_Once more Driders where seen close to Jiyyd, assaulting a small group of travellers headed to Peltarch. After a short, yet bloody battle the driders lay slain on the plains. Following this some more driders appeared as well as icy cold spiders and spiders that seemed where able to teleport around. But these were quickly dealt with, thanks to the help of some druids. Talk has it the druids were protecting a dryad living nearby.
Then, a few bold adventurers chased the trace of driders into the woods near the former gypsy camp where they encountered a queen spider and actually engaged them. The name of Lady Luck can often be heard when it is told how they managed to bring down even this monstrosity with the help of more travelers. After that the sun rose and the inhabitants of the underdark disappeared from the surface._
