Elissa, on one of her rare visits to Norwick, can be seen inquiring random people about the absence of the crystals, wondering why they disappeared without achieving anything.

Most citizens of Norwick are just as perplexed at the sudden departure of the Crystals. Some guards remark seeing a large group of people having passed through town into the Rawlinswood with a white glowing spirit of an armored man. One guard in particular had attacked the spirit. The spirit and his companions did nothing for quite a few minutes, giving the guard a chance to stop his futile attempt at harming the spirit, but the group knocked him out when it was apparent he would not relent.
Hours after the Crystals had left, many of the same group were seen passing back from the woods and traveling north. They carried quite a few dead and were without the white spirit.
