    Eowung Melisurr is the daughter of the famed savior of neverwinter, Elrith Thient. Despite her mothers extraordinary beginings, Eowung experienced a humble childhood. Her mother had begun to settle down after growing tired of her adventures. However, the great hero got unexpectantly pregnant. The father quickly disappeared and Elrit was left to care for her daughter alone. Elrith, determined to make good out of her bad situation sold off her armor and weapons and bought a home to raise Eowung in. Indulging in her desire to keep up her performing (as she had been a renowned bard), Elrith also set up a small tavern to keep up a respectable income.
    For the first few years things were happy and time flew by easily. However, as Elrith became more and more into her business, Eowung became more and more mischievious. Known in the town's temple as a pocketpicking rascal, Eowung eventually felt the wrath of her mother. Her mother caring incredibly for her reputation quickly cut Eowung off from her "influences" and decided to teach her the tricks of the trade. Eowung, a quick learner with an inborn instinct for music, rapidly learned her mother's tricks, tales, songs, and spells. Pretty soon Eowung was performing in her mother's tavern on her own.
    However, with the tall tales of glory and songs of inspiration fresh in her mind, Eowung was driven by what is commonly referred to by many bards as "the call to fame and fortune". At this she set off on her own. During her first week she met an interesting young man who claimed to be a bard also. However, fooled by his slick rhetoric, Eowung fell prey to his con and was robbed of everything but her birdpipe. Filled with despair she stumbled upon the city of Jiyyd and was taken in by the owner of The Regal Whore. Upon discovering her talent the owner put her to work in his tavern entertaining guests….among other duties...to pay for Eowung's room and board.
    Still putting on shows for any willing listeners in hopes of a spare coin, Eowung now is usually found in the vicinity of The Regal Whore. Many know her there for her beauty as well as her body unfortunately. However, that aside, Eowung is generally a cheery character, who, when comfortable, is full of clever remarks and frequent sarcasm. Looking for new friends and a way to get out of her "dirty" work at the tavern, Eowung is looking for comrades to assist her on her travels and perilous adventures and in general, anyone that can spare a coin or two.
