A staked, and brutalised dead elven female found near town

  • DM

The broken body of a wood-elven female was found by Vino of norwick by the lake just south of town, she was stripped down to her leaf armour - her posessions of fine armour, and glowing green battleaxe gone.

Wounds obvious of a very large saurus riddle her body, and it is clear it took many many blows to make her fall.

Those who know her can just about make out her features as she is brought in, it was Anariel - the elf that returned it was said to the great vale for her family axe.

The long standing and ardent enemy of all saurus has now met her end, tempus will watch over her in his ranks now.
The question is, what will happen now she is not thinning the ranks of the saurus as she did in their hundreds, when she breathed the air of the rawlinswood….?

  • _Oreth, understandably unable to patrol the whole rawlins at once, only sees Rando on his return. He mutters to himself, watching the man with barely-restrained violence, but doesn't make a move, or speak.

When the murderer is gone, he disappears into the wood. A funereal chant in draconic can be heard from the woods south of norwick for about half an hour._

  • *Rando smiles at the Guard and turns and speaks to him as he walks towards the Chancellors Office.

Been a long while since someone has called me lord, Mecc must want something

Rando smiles to the guard and enters the office

So Mecc what do you want…... the door closes

  • (double post)

  • One of the two stops him as he moves to walk away.

"The chancellor wishes to speak with you, Lord Rando".

_They open the gates and the one who spoke offers to escort the blood-soaked warrior to the town hall.

He adds casually_ "You may as well go straight in. The Malarite'll probably think you bathed in blood on his account."

  • *Rando on one of his trips down south hears about the young elven woman and how she was slain by the foul sauras. He checks his kit and with a smile heads out of the gates towards where the lizards live.

He is seen a few hours later with a slightly bigger smile on his face. His armour, shield and weapon covered in blood that is not his. He makes a comment to the two guards at the south gate

Now there's not so many of them to do that again

  • Oreth stares for a long while at the body, then shakes his head and walks away south. Over the next few days, he makes a point to watch for anyone going out to the Saurials to seek some sort of vengeance
