    Character Name: Tyche "Ty" Fortuna

    Common Knowledge:
    Tyche, or as he most commonly goes by, Ty, is an outspoken, amicable gambler who usually has a lot to say about anything under the sun, with an endless sense of humour about even the most morbid and twisted of matters. It's hard to see him in a mood that is not slightly bemused, fully amused, or devilishly mischevious. He frequented the camp long before joining it, and enjoyed the very, very cheap wine, quite often; Ty is a drinker, and can hold his own, in his own right.

    Ty hails from, or so he will say, the North, and was born in Farmvale, a small, rural, once-existent farming village west of Longsaddle, but grew up in another small, rural, once-existent, elven hunting village on the edge of the Kryptgarden Forest named Drapak. Where, exactly, he lived after the destruction of those places is not something of which he speaks, often, nor is how he ended up in Narfell – at most, he makes vague allusions to portals, teleportation, and planar travel.

    He shares a long-standing relationship with Oreth, and they can be occasionally be found exchanging the type of banter that people who have known each other for decades and shared many common experiences usually have. He, also, is open about somewhat of a connection with Zyphlin, from his past. His Oath-taking was sponsored by Oreth, along with Kalador -- both witnesses his joining.

    Otherwise, Ty is apt to spend time at the fire performing trvial card tricks, coin tricks, and dice tricks. Also, he is a human male who appear to be about twenty or so years of age, with a mixture of Chondathan and Tethyrian traits. He can be found speaking Common, Chondathan, Elven, and Goblin, at times. He has a penchant for red-haired, green-eyed bards.

    A dirty, scruffy young girl in her early to mid teens has recently been seen around camp. She is skittish, easily scared off and seems disinclined to talk. The change of appearance in the six years since she weas last here have meant that few even of the Rom Elders know her by sight, but Tara seems satisfied that the girl is a Rom Oathtaker of a good family and recalls her name, to those that ask, as Star. Her family were in the camp for around 3 years and then moved on, no-one had reason to suppose that the whole Family had not moved on together.

    Her reluctance to speak and her nervousness do nothing to prevent her running around Narfell delighting in everything and anything she comes across. She seems to vibrate with innocence and a childlike glee in every new discovery, and it's possible that something is not quite right in her head after what seems to be years lost in the forests to the south.

    She is strong though, able and capable, also hard to find when she wishes to remain hidden. Her hair is long and dark, often used to hide her face when she wishes to be left alone, or is feeling anxious in company. Her face and tattered hand sewn leather armour are muddy, but in a way that seems more camouflage than simply grime.

    Common knowledge:

    By this time most will know her story, but for the few that don't …. here it is

    Shirra Frost was a sorceress to some unknown mage. She wanted to go after a rhemoranz, polar worm, for spell components. After a very hasty preperation, she jumped through a mirror portal in her mentor's spellcasting chamber. On the other side, she arrived at the edge of a glacial cliff .... on the other side, was a polar worm .... almost like it was waiting for her. She got off a few spells to no effect, and just before the worm was about t make her a snack she threw down a crystal cube breaking it on the exposed ice. The breaking of the object released a modified cube of force around her, it also kept the occupant fairly safe from outside interferience. The polar worm then crashed into the cube, sending it over .... however, the worm had too much momentum to stop, and followed Shirra over the edge. At the bottom, the cube set down hard and tumbled a ways, and the rhemoranz hit even harder, it was splattered across the base of the cliff. Shirra was banged a brused up but alive, but she didn't know how to get out of the cube .....

    Several hours pass and finally the cube shimmered then faded away. She finally realized how ill prepared she was, the cold was biting into her viciousy, she have very little in mudane supplies and no shealter in sight. Shirra startedd to walk across the frozen waste land hoping to find something to help her ...... she did not. Finally, her body became so numb and frostbitten that she collapsed, and laid there till there was no warmth left.

    Shirra then appears one day in the middle of the camp and was hauled into the hut of an elderly woman. This elderly woman takes care ofo her for the next 6 months, there is progress in Shirra's helh, but is is very small. One day she stumbles out and greets the rest of the camp as she sees them. And many have ask, for she has lost all pigment and has some very intricate tatoos across her body. She says Sharess has saved her for some special purpose, and with her story, her looks, and the braclet that has never been removed ..... it just all may be true .....

    It is obvious after spending some time around her, she will flirt with any of the tall folk, she has a slightly slanted humor, and regardless of the joking around (hapens constantly), she has a caring heart.

    Char name: Tris Dy'ner
    playing time: Currrently not playing, until further notice.

    Tris is a woman in her prime, strong and able she is happy to lend a hand to the people of the camp. Over all she does respect the haven of wanders but has a limited amount of loyalty. She is ready to fight to defend her home but above that is, it is conisdered left to the proper people, she does not like to meddle in affairs she does not understand. She came to camp some time after she came to Narfell, and has made many great friends there. Though is is a comfortable custom to call people bother or sister she holds back on that term for unknown reasons. She suddenly seems to have disapeared in recent months, leaveing Little clue as to why she left. It is apparant that few people are missing her.

    Common Knowledge: Amalia was previously a slave, ran away from working in the desert, arrived in the camp late one evening and has been eager to learn from anyone and anything. She seems to have strange customs, and has a tendancy to bow down to anyone she thinks is a higher athority, unless in a pissy mood. She is actually quite beautiful looking, though she herself after many years as a slave does not think she is as good looking as she actually is.

    Common knowledge:
    Devath is a young man, and a member of the Heyokarr Tribe of narsmen. He went trough a rough time, having lost much, just before joining the camp. He enjoys staying in the gypsy camp, referring to his "home away from home", and can often be seen sitting around the fire with other Gali. During the working days, he makes himself useful wherever he can, and commonly patrols the nearby forests. However, he is especially keen on delivering messages or other missions that allow him to travel the Nars, and learning more about the Romani. On the other side, he usually also likes talking about his own tribe, and the different customs. On the side, Devath also spends time practicing his javelin throwing.

    Philomena Sureshot is known as a long time ranger of the rawlinswood. She is a sworn enemy and hunter of evil humanoids, such as goblins (in particular), orcs, bugbears and gnolls. She makes no secret of the fact that she worships Corellon Larethian, and is often seen in the company of elves. She is known to be blunt, but honest, and, whilst sometimes most stiff and formal, certainly enjoys a little humour with friends.

    Average Playing Time: Weekdays, except Thurs. from 9 to 11 pm EST, then midnight until about 2am. Weekends vary, and Green is often on at other sporadic times as well.

    Common Knowledge other Gali would know (or see) by living with you in camp:

    Green is obviously timid, but tries extremely hard to overcome it. She appears to lack confidence in social situations, but seems very capable at woodcraft and survival type skills. She is often seen cooking and offering others meals or tea, and generally seems very level headed and helpful to others, bandaging injured folks when a cleric isnt available.

    She is perhaps a bit simple and crude by elvish standards, less refined than most, with clumsier speech and less elegant manners. She seems quite agile though, and often can be seen resting peculiarly in a tree, balanced like some green owl.

    She seems to enjoy adventuring, and shows little fear towards battling evil creatures or defending the camp. She seems to generally only carry a bow.

    She appears quite religious, and often can be seen offering prayers to Mielikki, and most of all, it is obvious to all that she loves the woods, the animals and nature in general.

    Syrano walks with the utmost confidence in himself. His most notable features are his shoulder length, flowing, silverish-white hair, and an intentional looking tribalistic scar under his right eye. He seems genuinine in his task to uphold the ideals of the camp and the beliefs of his God. In any case, you will never see him mistreat any animal, and you will constantly notice his growing effort to uphold the balance of nature, and all things that spawn, grow, and breath nature. Although most times when speaking to him you notice that his demeanor is good, an occasional aura of sarcasm can be felt from him.

    Common Knowledge other Gali would know (or see) by living with you in camp:
    Magpie (as she'd introduce herself) is an incredibly pale half-elf with dark hair who looks to be in her early twenties. She's friendly and chatty if engaged but also doesn't tend to intrude on others conversations unless she feels she's got something to offer. She seems very interested in how long anyone else has lived in the area - particularly if they've been here from more than 20 years. Her accent is from Damara and she'll happily admit to being from Heliogabalus, but travelling through here on her way to somewhere else, maybe Mulsantir. If addressed in elven she'll respond in careful slightly simplistic elven of her own, still with a pronounced Damaran accent.

    When it comes to camp-living she's more than happy to scout or hunt for food in the nearby woods or the pass. She's been well-trained as a tracker and scout but isn't that experienced at it as yet. Apparently she apprenticed with a group called Nature's Blades in the far west of the Rawlinswood but left them in order to travel this way.

    Common Knowledge other Gali would know (or see) by living with you in camp:
    Shalia is a human female of pure Rom blood and she has just recently arrived at the Camp in Nars Pass. She is a very common looking young woman looking to be around 25-30 years of age. Shalia is hesitant to speak about her past but it is not hard to find out that she originally comes from somewhere around the Moonsea area. She has obviously travelled a lot for her age and speaks both elven and dwarven quite well in addition to common. She tends to act roughly or even coarsely at times but seems to be able to control her temper most of the time. Shalia clearly has strong self-consciousnes and pride but she can throw them aside if need be - although it doesn't come naturally to her. She handles her weaponry with obvious talent and tends to have a quirk for earning money with her weapon skills.

    Ohtar is a friendly, weathered elf. Rumored to be a ranger within the Wolves who likes to ghost behind and along with travelers in the woods. He seems to be muttering alot about getting old despite looking young. He has a number of walking sticks to help with this.

    Character: Yeveath Imyn

    Play Time: anytime I can

    Common Knowledge: Yeveath keeps to himself most of the time, he has a strong value for life…especially for those closest to him.
    He also has a strong sense of duty, and will help those in need as he finds them on his journeys if anyone commits an offense to another elf he will defend them...even with his own life.
    He will see to all possible solutions before drawing his weapons on someone, quite a rare custom on a worshipper of Sheverash.
    He can be seen smiling from on ocassion, but for most of the time he will have a rather sad/serious expression on his face.
    when sitting by the fire at night he tends to just stare at the fire, this for some reason brings him comfort...perhaps a reminder of his fireplace at his now destroyed home.
    At the mention of Drow he will atomatically leave whatever he is doing and will ask for any information about them.

  • Warrior (devoKnight1)

    Warrior is deformed blackened human male who's story is as follows:

    A few years ago (Tar) Warrior was sent to asassinate Katya (unknown by whom). Warrior snuck past the guards in the camp and attempted to slay Katya. Katya all knowing with help from Grallon stopped warrior. They captured him and Katya spared his life. Warrior swore his life to Katya, who he now calls Babba Katya. He guards her hut and swears his life to her safety. Warrior is on a quest to find who cursed him with his amnesia and cursed looks. Warrior is very educated and speaks proper english and Rom. Tar (warrior) spends most of his tiome in the camp, except when he journeys from town to town in search of those responsible.

    Common Knowledge other Gali would know (or see) by living with you in camp:
    Sy'wyn rises early and stays out late, and says very little. He is fiercely loyal to Fenmarel, and his family. Everyone else is on an as needed basis, and usually they are not needed. He tends to walk alone or with one or more of the Blackwoods close by. He keeps his cloak wrapped around him, the hood pulled low, rarely letting the hood down. He speaks common rather well, and more often then the other Blackwoods, though there is a trace of distaste laced through every word he speaks of it. If he is in camp he is either resting by the fires leaned against the trees, in a corner in soft prayer, or off toying with the dogmen. Otherwise, good luck in finding him as his feet wander often. Anyone who has talked to him for a length of time knows his family was displaced by the recent treaty with the Yuan-Ti, and that he seeks a new home for his clan. Where this will end up being, only the Blackwoods know, but the search for such has placed Sy'wyn in some interesting places already....
