  • ::Tribune member Von Du'Sharre is seen near the well, speaking with his usual rythmic and melodic voice. His face covered, only a pale jaw is seen as he articulates every word with a friendly twist, speaking as if every word should dazzle and impress, yet still hinting an odd iciness::

    ::He is wearing darkish armor, lined with purple metal. His armor is embedded with furr, along with a large cloak that has a bit of snow on the shoulders, obviously from the recent frigid wheather changes::

    "Greetings and salutations, fellow oath takers, and bloodied members of Oscura." ::His smile broadens with sardonic curvs at the sides, being the first time he's ever really spoken in a public voice:: "I have a proposition for you all. On the break of dusk of the second night next tenday, I will be venturing deep into the Jiyydian swamps. There's rumor of a cave, far into the murky depths of the moist forest, and I wish to see what is inside, perhaps even find a path to the underdark."

    ::Tilting his masked visage, pulling his hood down for the first time to reveal long, pitch black hair, rattled and seperated by the leather bindings that hold his mask fastened in place. The grey pupils presented behind the sockets are bright and shining, as if he were telling a joke, amused::

    "This is not a trip for the weak of mind, heart or body…" ::Von continues, his deep, melodic voice clear:: "Those who wish to accompany me will find the task will be difficult thanks to the creatures inhabbiting our destination, which are bound to prove interesting. Any who wish to join are welcome, but, and I cannot stress this enough, you must present your bloody rag before we leave. We depart here, in Oscura… remember, the second break of dusk, next tenday."

    ::Tilting his head, cocking it sideways slightly as he looks over the gathered, bright grey eyes behind his mask assesing and dismissing each present, if any::

    "Enjoy the evening, fellow oath takers."

    ((OOC – This is a player lead event, we're basically going to explore the jiyydian swamps and see how far we can get. If we actually make it to the edge and the cave without too much trouble, we might be heading into the Norwick crypts for some creepy crawly dungeon fun, yo. 🙂 DM involvement is slim to none, and treasure? Hah! Little to no chances of that, too. 😉 This is full on RP folks, so bring your rations, blankets, ropes and firewood. It's going to be starting Next Monday at 12:00 - Noon, Eastern Time. And I plan on having it last until at least 4:30 or 5:00 in the evening. This event is for Oscurans Only. 🙂 Anybody who wants to participate, respond here IC'ly. Thanks. 😃 ))

  • // Two things.
    A) 5 - 10 is a bad level range because it violates the four level rule. Level 5s won't get XP from what combat there might be.

    B) I don't think the Jiyyd swamp will provide any challenge to level 7+, at all. Unless something has changed, Zanetar could very easily and quickly solo it. That doesn't mean you can't have an old-fashioned adventure, but having to stop for rest and such won't be very convincing, unless, of course, you're counting on DMs spicing things up – which is fine. Good, even.


  • Level range is from 5-10 fellas, this isn't for people under those levels, the spawns we'll be facing will prove to be a challenge depending on the folks we get. Ace, your more than welcome buddy. You too scio.

    Oh and for the cave...well I'll just let you explore it. 😉))
