Gloiner Larkur

Originally from Damara, Gloiner didnt take the typical path of his clan. He was always more interested in the wilderness than in learning to use an axe. He would spend most of his time sitting under trees and playing with animals rather than mining the earth like all the others of his clan.
As all the Larkur children, he was sent to a known tutor to train in his field. His travels took him to the far Jungle of Chult, with the help of magic luckily, where we was apprenticed under a man that had visited several times and his parents knew well. He grew to respect nature even more and devoted himself to be its protector, to keep the balance in all things. For many years he grew up amongst the dwarves in the jungle. His path in life led him to the worship of Thard Harr, the dwarven god of wilderness survival and the jungle dwarves.
He never spent much time amongst people and so his skills at speaking with people are not the greatest, he feels more comfortable around animals. He was amazed that his tutor spent more time in animal and other various forms and not his own and the teachings he spoke of that ones life is formed from what is inside and not what one appears to be on the outside has made him strive to do as his master has done and he has set his mind to that path and that path alone.
He is ugly even by dwarven standards, not well spoken around people most times but can suddenly come out of his dwarven accent and speak perfect common if he wishes to. He rarely does so unless around others who follow his faith, beliefs, or his clansmen. He always has an animal near him somewhere and hs faithful friend Gith.
He has always looked up to his older sister Jirka and so has travelled all this way to Narfell to try and prove himself to her although he would never openly admit it.
He stands 4'2" tall and has no hair except a patch of green hair on the back of his head and his green beard. His body is covered in tattoos of animals in earthy tones except for the large symbol of Thard Harr that is tattooed on his chest in silvery blue colors. He preaches that the animal tattos show the way life should be, to leave behind your material body and concentrate on what is inside you.
