Portal from the Spider Pass?

As part of the three people that own homes in the GC, I would like to request access to Tala's home via the spider pass.
The Gypsy Camp is currently inacessible and has been for some time now. Hopefully it will change in the not to distant future. I have been told that a portal point would not be too hard to add by one of the Dev's. I have ic'ly asked a dwarf or two how hard it would be to dig a small tunnel. As I understand things, I just need DM approval for this now. We would of course block the front cave enterances with massive bolders to keep the gnolls out…
