Recall of Peltarch Trading Permits



  • In a joint statement by the Magistrates Barrim and Zyphlin, notices have been placed in the marketplace, tradehall and near to the entrances of the gates of the city for public viewing

    From this day year 1479 it has been decided that to maintain good order in the use of the trading laws of the city that all past trading permits are herby recalled and declared invalid. All individuals believing they have an a-priori right to said permit to contact the office of the magistrate to re-apply for the right under Statute 2.31. Only posession and production of this personal permit will allow for outlanders to sell weapons and armour within the city. Citizens of the city maintain their exclusive rights to do so.

  • Anyone enquiring as to their trading permit being ready, receives a notification if asking at the herald's office that they are available to those who have applied in writing for them, by way of the Magistrate Barrim Asbravn.



  • Magistrate Barrim announces that all non-peltarch citizens who wish to partake of the revised trading permits to contact him directly, and that they shall receive a signed and offically sealed trading permit.

  • Devath expresses his dissaproval at this decision, stating that it works against free trade and that nothing stops the other settlements from mimicing the gesture, which would lead to a narfell-wide economic breakdown, at least in the arms and armor trade.

    "Trade is bad enough as it is, and now Magistrates, with absolutely no understanding of trade, make it even worse. Law is supposed to support and protect free trade, not hamper it."
