A letter sent to Merrepi.

A letter is delivered to the Jiyyd council by a small hin in a dark livery running along the near east road with instructions to pass the letter onto Merreppi herself. The letter itself is sealed into a simple scroll, with the seal of the Purple dragons of Cormyr binding it closed.
_Esteemed Members of the Council.
We send this letter in the hopes that we will be able to arrange a meeting between our two bodies and hopefully set about about rectifying a few mistruths about who we are. The collective on a whole has been branded a threat to the land and that we are seeking to invade every town in Narfell….this could not be further from the truth.
The collective itself is not here to harm anyone. Indeed, it exists to combat the threat of the coming outsiders, and the defiler about to return to this world. The current hysteria about ourselves exists due to a lack of information, a problem we are spending our time rectifying before our foes make themselves known.
If you would allow a meeting between us, we could attempt to set any fears you may have to rest. You have my word as a paladin and an honourable woman that noone will be harmed. I am aware of the reservations many people have, and if permitted, we will not come armed...and allow the representatives to be kept under watch of the guard or the legion at all times, whichever you all would prefer.
