For those that don't know by now I have taken over SDMing of Jiyyd. The ADMs has not changed except for Maythor is now officially an ADM.
I, as well as others, will be working very hard in the coming weeks to improve Jiyyd by redesigning many areas, introducing new NPCs, adding new spawns and areas amongst other things. I am planning on making rolling changes on a weekly basis if possible so expect changes regularly. For the changes that are made I am listening heavily to what the players has asked for. Farmland, jobs, new items in shops. My goal is not to change Jiyyd, it's to improve upon what is already there as I don't want to lose the spirit of the town.
I will announce a player meeting soon to discuss things if needed, but for now you can send me suggestions, ideas, dislikes, and anything else concerning Jiyyd and the surrounding areas. Put them here if you want and make sure you log into narfell_Jiyyd from time to time in IRC.

I am currently in the process of changing things in Jiyyd. Now I'm wondering if folks would volunteer to work on some new areas possibly? Like a player contest to redesign Healing Wonders for example. If there was enough interest I would open up a bunch of contests to redesign the interiors of Jiyyd. Or perhaps if people just want to volunteer to remake an interior I wouldn't mind that either. Of course there would be incentives.
If I can get people working on remaking the areas that are there then I can free up time to get working on new areas.
And we all love new areas, monsters, plots….
