Player Character Name: Shalia Decauteur
Player Login Name: TheWatchtowerAge: 16
Class: Cleric
Deity: Sune
Alignment: Neutral GoodPhysical Features:
Shalia has pale blue eyes, light blond hair and sun kissed skin that would suggest that she has spent a healthy amount of time outdoors. She is thin, tall, and athletically built, but not overly muscular. Her fine patrician features and slightly upturned eyes might suggest that she has some elfish heritage, though she lacks any tapering of the ears. Often, her hair is woven into a simple braid around her temples threaded through with a silver and crimson ribbons that are pleasing to the eye, yet practical as it helps keeps most of the way ward strands of hair from invading her vision but allows the most of her hair to fall free down her back.
Brief History and Profile:
Though orphaned at a very young age, Shalia retains a positive and thankful outlook upon her life, much due to her rich upbringing by the clergy men and women of a small church to Sune in Aglarond which she is much thankful for. She was often sheltered within the clergy ranks as she grew, though she was taught to love all things of beauty, aesthetics, arts and philosophies. Because of this, most of what she knows about the outside world initially seems very naïve and unpractical, as she has had no direct experience with most of the oddities of Faerun. Foremost amongst these things is her initial fear of Half Orcs, her inability to understand the heavily accented speech of the Dwarves, as well as the shades of gray that lie between good and evil, right and wrong, and some of the other smaller nuances of life outside of the church which she grew up in.
It is her place and wish to do works in the name of Sune that often causes her the most distress, as she was told that she would never be able to truly enter the ranks of Suneâ€s priestesses, as her will and heart did not fully lie on that path. She retains much of her learning from the days she spent studying with other acolytes, and uses her knowledge to do what she can to help others in need, as well as enrich their lives with the same gifts she was taught to appreciate in hopes that she may one day find her place in her faith.
