Melody much perfered writing songs, singing, and learning about the world than going off by herself to hack and slash at invisible opponents... When Nalio was 97 years old, Melody found a bit of information when she studied the family history a bit just for fun...
The Bladesong family was descended from one of the Legendary Swordsingers! Melody looked through the history books in the High forest looking for more information... she came across the stories of the Swordsingers...
Reading about the swordsingers she descovered that each of them had a sword, a sword that sang... the sword had awsome power that could only be unlocked by a true sword singer, but there were stories that the descendants could use the swords power as well, though not to the full effect...
Melody then recalled a Story her Father once told her... about a long lost family blade... It had been taken out of the Family vault by one of her ancesters who went off to see Faruen... but the ancester never returned... and its thought he perrished, and his sword rested in a tomb...
Her father gave a discription of the sword... the blade seemed to give off a glow, and when it was swung, instead of whistling... it sang... the handguard was in the shape of a note, and it seemed to be sharper and well balanced than most blades...
When Nalio was 113, Melody Left on a quest to find the long lost heirloom... she searched through all the lands of Faruen, till she at long last was led back home... only to descover that her sister had left, without any explanation... Melody returned to her room which she had left so long ago, only to descover a note...
The note said "Galten Bladesong, Narfell"
She did not recognize the writing, but something told her that she was closer to finding the sword...she said goodbye to her family again, and headed to Narfell... Here she hopes she will end her quest... and possibly find her Wayward sister...
