Bloodied refugees

  • Mog is seen coming into Jiyyd in bloody and dented armor leading throngs of equally distressed women, children and men into town. Immeadiately Mog sets the Legion troops to finding food, shelter, and medical attention.

Tales of countless gnolls and undead gnolls pouring forth into the gypsy camp spread about town like wildfire. Rumors also have it that Tero the swordmaster slew the Gypsy king right before the assualt and got away.

The refugees are scared and tired but maintain a fierce buring in their eyes for revenge and to claim their homes back.

Shortly after arrival heavy Legion patrols are seen scouring the area around Jiyyd.

  • Cera could easily be mistaken for an ordinary rag lady from Petlarch these days, the way she wonders the streets muttering and humming to herself about little teapots and her missing pieces and mostly of Squirmies..alays the squirmies, creeping crawling in out of the dead gnoll flesh. That is when she's not sitting quietly amongst the Menhir stones in Silver Valley or near the bat cave.

Attending to her fellow refugees doesn't seem like a bright idea for the displaced gypsy witch. Most since she she so often "freaks" out and either a) runs away shrieking in terror or b) tackles and demands they make the Voices or squirmies go away or to give her Mojo's missing pieces back.

  • Ricky can sometimes be spotted, watching the refugees silently, a frown on his face. And behind his eyes, an anger and hatred seems to brew. When he leaves, his mutters are more and more often filled with curses about demons and dogmen, almost as often, even, as about drow and spiders.

The infamous priestess of Beshaba, Elissa, her eyesockets filled with only a red glow, can be seen talking and comforting some people, offering them her special way out of misfortune. Of course, most of the actual preaching is done only outside the gates.

  • Sy'wyn is seen off and on in Jiyyd, though rarely for long. Each time he enters in he has a few more marks on his armor, a few more lines on his face, and his gauntlets tend to be covered in what appears to be blood and dog hair.

  • _Arandor is seen arriving in Jiyyd with Tala and the other refugees, carrying their young daughter Sarah'linae in his arms. The little girl clings to him and brings with her a small bearskin rug. Seeming confused more than anything, her eyes wide with wonder at all the people… But as the time goes on she grows more and more upset, not seeming to understand why they can't go home.

After making sure his family and the other refugees are safe and settled, Arandor is seen leaving the town, heading out into the Nars Pass, anger clear in his eyes... He mumbles something about "The trail gone cold..." once in awhile, and spends many sleepless nights scouring the Nars._

  • tala when seen is pale and withdrawn. She seems abrupt with most people and seems to be gone for long periods to who knows where

  • Merin Wyerspell is seen of late, often in the company of Cera, helping her any way he can, often attempting to guide her to the menhirs to calm her mind. He often is heard calling her the Queen of the Gyspies in Exile.

  • The skittish Blackwood sister has not been seen since the complete destruction of the camp. Last seen carrying off a young Romani boy as a gnoll slaughtered his mother, the petite elf seems to be completely missing now.

  • Star has been sighted only once since the fall of the camp. She seemed distressed and after ensuring her family were safe, vanished.

  • The Halfling Defence League

Khaya divides her time in Jiyyd between remaining at Cera's side and gathering wood for fires and construction of makeshift shelters. Though angered at the impetus, Khaya expresses some happiness at using her woodcrafting skills for a constructive, rather than destructive end.

  • Sil is quick to sing encouraging and comforting melodies to the ravaged refugees.

  • Dwin Dolvak lets it be known that the Crafters Union will do whatever it can to help the refugees and town of Jiyyd itself in this sad time.

All the Romani, especially the women, children and elderly are invited inside the crafting hall to enjoy the [supervised] heat of the forge and protection from the otherwise inhospitable climate in Jiyyd.

  • Calia is said to have been seen standing at the gate as the refugees arrived. A most serious look was on her face and she tried to offer healing to any that would accept it, soon she was beyond her capability and stood sadly and watched the constant influx. Eventually though her frown fades away as she apparently has found a number of men of interest to her among the refugees and starts to work through the group asking questions about the new arrivals the wicked grin on her face again.

  • Sam is seen walking into jiyyd shortly after the bulk of the refugees. She seems unhurt as she was away at the time of the final attack. As night sets each evening she is seen moving tent to tent of the refugees or to what homes they may have been able to stay in. At each tent she checks to see the injured are treated giving herbs to ease nerves, listen to any of thier complaints, rock frightened children back to sleep with songs about selune. As the sun raise's she seeks out Arandor and whatever other elders she can find to complain about the condition of the poorest and most downtrodden of the refugees and to plead for more help for them.

  • Belade Galadon is among the refugees, and she does all she can to help. Giving healing to those who need it the most, bandaging wounds, and trying to be a helping hand, and shoulder to cry on.

  • Alvar Blackwood, still unsure of the fate of his missing relatives, frantically searches each face as they enter Jiyyd, hoping for some news.

  • Council of Moradin

::note tacked to the door of the Legion hall::

I have seen the chaos and destruction of the camp and I will join you in any assault you can muster against the gnolls. Send me a message to my office in Peltarch and we will purge the gnolls from the land of the Gali.

Death to all those whom attack the innocent.
