The chancellor meets with one of the Circle

:: the guards inform the young druidess that the chancellor has left town on a hunt and will- …and then the armored man strides forward from the south gates, bloodied, and hefting a large sack that clangs loudly ::
"I will …see her" he says to the guard, and gestures for Fadia to enter the hall. The girl does, and the armored chancellor speaks with one of the guards for a moment then follows.
After the door shuts the guard runs towards the barracks and calls out several of his brethren. Together they move quickly to bolster the defenses at the south gate.
