The Magistrate in rather a good mood.

  • Magistrate Barrim has been seen around the city in cheerful mood of late, and looking perhaps a little better groomed than his usual impeccable appearance.

Aside from consulting with recent battered warriors in the commons about some new mysterious threat to the city, he has been unusually uncompromisingly optimistic.

Later he goes off to find Senator Roland and thank him again for the two bottle of Von Hockstrohm 1458 he received expressing his personal approval of the vintage.

Known for his refined taste in fine ale and wine, such almost decadently expensive wine is a new departure for him.

    • The dwarf sitting in the commons squints an eye towards the magistrate, with whom he is on friendly terms.

The look is one of assessment, and he strokes his beard slowly as he peers at him inquisitively.

Slowly and muttering to himself he takes a slow swig from his canteen, a squinted eye in the direction of the magistate.*
