Burned home

North is a hin, he was born in the small city of Sundabar to the far east of the Narfell lands, located in the Silver Marches off of the Rouvin River. North was always alittle more adventurous then most of his family members and the rest of the people in town, this got him into quite abit of trouble throughout his life but nothing too serious. He was raised off of mischif and is quite used to the cold in the Marches. North didn't leave home, like most other hins, until he came of age in his twenetith year. When North moved out he moved to the southwest, to a port town called Yhuann which is on the western coast of Sembia. North didn't leave his home on a good note with many in his town most of all his father who disapproved of his behavior for most of North's life. North left to Sembia to start more or less anew while keeping in contact with only a few people back home in Sundabar.
When he arrived in Yhuann he was victim to the Ruthless Mercantilism of Sembia right off the wagon. He was talked into buying into becoming a trader for a larger business and became their supplier. North being himself took about two weeks of working before he looked into what he was hauling around all the time. His loads were never more then a cart or wagon load, nothing more then he could handle by himself. Most of his trips were carried Ale which he always seem to have a barrel "fall off the back" during his trips. Six months into working for this supplier his loads became smaller and to shadier places, when he looked into his cart he realized he had been carring powder kegs for a while and never knew it. So North go to thinking a "lost" a few of 'these kegs', along the way and was selling them off to thieves and others everyonce and a while. After his work payments and 'side' job payments he had alot more gold then he ever had in his life. he bought a small house and continued his antics for a few years until a group of three men and a woman asked him to help them pull a job. He spend quite awhile with this group of people and got to learn quite a bit from them, when the night came to pull off the job it went off flawlessly, he got his share and that was over. His money had grown to become a small fortune.
Two months after this job he helped in he received a letter for a person named Muarice claming that he was his step brother and he wanted to meet North for a few days in Peltarch. North grew rather happy about the new and packed few things and alittle gold to leave. Unknown to North the letter was sent by the group of three men and a woman after they learned of his small fortune. After North finally got off the boat and arrived in Peltarch another letter was waiting for him at the inn. the letter said:

Dear Mister North Springwater for whom i know it concerns, im sorry. North we have, I have, betrayed you. You have no step brother in Peltarch and the letter was a fake, we sent it. You may asked why, and the answer is we have broken into your home and stole mostly everything you own. Your home is emptied and your fortune stolen, but there is more and im sorry to say but we felt we had to. We have tipped the Authorities to your powder keg smugglings and that job we pulled togeather, their after you now, and your Boss didn't take your emblezzlement too lightly so he powder kegged your home, its completely gone. I am sorry for the unintentional losses, but business is business and you shouldn't have trusted us. Good luck in Peltarch North. And if i were you i wouldn't come back, the militia is pretty pissed around here.

Having no where to go and few gold to spare North has become determined to start again in Peltarch at the young age of twenety seven and not die for starvation.
