As your gaze falls upon this man you can pretty much make the assumption that he is a healer of somekind. He Stands Relaxed yet tall and his skin has a certain snowy aura about it. After several moments you realize that the soft coloured robes the priest wears are those dedicated to the long quiescent Deity Ulutiu.
Background : Denethen hails from the Western Heartland city of Beregost just south of baldur's gate and north of Athkalta Beregost is commonly visited by traders heading to Amn. during his child hood years Denethen was often seen snoopin around the Red Sheaf inn and spent many a night there by the fireplace listening to tales of grand adventures and the such. It was here that he met a friendly and wise old man by the name of Joachim a high priest of Ulutiu, Denethen instantly was enchanted by the tales of this seldom heard of god and found himself giving praises to Ulutiu without even thinking about it . At first Joachim was hesitant to teach the young boy fearing that he too like his Brothers would turn to the worship of Shar, but after several month's he saw the potential the boy had and decided to go ahead with the teachings anyway much to the dismay of Denethen's Father Valshan Umbrage an advert and fanatical follower of Shar. Joachim purchased a property in Beregost and began to prepare young Denethen in the ways of Ulutiu, needless to say young Denethen accepted Joachim's proposal more than willingly. After what seemed an eternity Denethen eventually learned all that Joachim could teach him. As Joachim inevitably become unwell he begged Denethen to pay a visit to the Great Glacier (said to have been created by Ulutiu's ice shard necklace when Ulutiu voluntarily exiled himself to the astral plane). Several days later Denethen's mentor passed into the next world and his Funeral was conducted in true Ulutian style. saddened and dismayed Denethen packed his gear and headed North alone or so he thought. Denethen trudged forward and was surprised to see his two Brothers Rodan and Matham waiting for him at the city gates. After a brief chat Denethen came to realize that his brothers would be joining him on this journey. After many Months and travel through foreign land's the Brothers Umbrage arrived at there destination. At first Denethen found the climate harsh and unwelcoming but in time he began to grow use to it. After a few weeks a top the Glacier Denethen began to grow more and more closer to his deity and was not surprised when the Avatar of Ulutiu appeared to him one night. Ulutiu informed him of the troubled times the faithful of Ulutiu face and how it is up to him to continue to preach his word, Ulutiu preached to Denethen about the once powerful Ice Reavers of Ulutiu and how they were once sparse but are now rarely found and only in the most Northern Region's of Faerun. With theses words Ulutiu vanished but not before granting the title of Ice Reaver upon Denethen. So exactly one year since there arrival to the Glacier Denethen and his Shar worshipping Brothers are on there way back home but first they must raise the coin to make it.
