    The Slaughtered Hall, home of the SD
    The Dwarven city known as the Slughtered hall is home to humans and Goodly Dwarfs alike. At a ever lasting war with the Duergar they hope to destroy there evil and kill a few Drow while doing so.

    Slaughtered Hall: (small city): Conventional;Population:635;(Shield Dwarf 30%, Gold Dwarf 17%, Human 48%, Gnome 3%, Elf 2%); Location; The Cloud Peaks

    Authority figure: Dolition ((my brothers old pc)) (CG Male Shield Dwarf Fighter 7, Battle Rager 3, SD Duergar Killer 6), King of the Clan.

    Important Characters: Rolert (CG Male Shield Dwarf Fighter 5, Battle Rager 1), The General of Army and Dolitions advisor; Healea (CG Male Shield Dwarf Fighter 5, Battle Rager 1), Rolert best friend and leader of Shock Troops; Kaliath (CG Male Human Fighter 1) Son of the Human Leader; Trudock (LN Male Human Barbarien 14) Leader of Humans.

    The SD Army The Army consits of 400 of the best trained Humans and Dwarfs; (Battle Ragers 20%, Veterans 70%, Shock Troops 5%, Royal Guards 5%)

    History:
    The SD where founded 31 years ago by Dolition the Exiled. He starded as a hermit forging steel weaponry for the towns around Amn soon he began to prosper and became very rich, Buying paintings and living the fine life he hired 20 Dwarves to help him build his home underneath the mountains. Befriending the Shield Dwarves he starded a small clan that prospered as it grew in size and population. Very soon they had dug so deep they were having battles with Duergar Scouts and that is where they got their name “The Slaughtered Duergar” as the continued to grow the Duergar Brawls began to become battles and finally it turned into a everlasting war. Very soon all the Dwarves (which grew to 50 by then) starded to train strictly for killing Duergar and as they changed there Clan colors, forged weaponry, and stitched War Banners more dwarves came to there aid. Soon it was up to 200 Dwarves fighting for their new clan. They continued growing for Dolition signed a treaty around this time letting Humans seek shelter in his Clan Halls for as long as they like (as long as they work and fight), soon enough the Humans began to like it, marring to the Dwarves even having children. The humans where part of this culture, oddly enough a group of Gnomes joined as well and to this day still create machinery that helps heat the Halls, improve armor and weaponry, ect. Finally the War of the Kings Doom came. As the Humans and Dwarves mined in the tunnel that connected them to the underdark they heard drums of war only an hour away. They all suited up 367Warriors ready to die, as they fought in the cramped tunnels the Morale starded to break as the Clan fell back. But to everyone’s amazement a Mithril clad King jumped into an Ocean of Gray Dwarves and did one spin of his great sword literally chopping Gray Dwarves in half. This inspired the Clan creating a new surge of Moral rushing at the Duergar slaughtering them with their king. When suddenly they saw him fall, but other then making them Break they just became stronger slaughtering the Duergar to get to there king. As the king was moved to the back of the enemy lines the Dwarves pressed on finally killing all the Duergar they found there king. A crude stack of bones was all that was left of their king, there king that was destroyed by Duergar acids. They marched to the Outpost of The Duergar 400 armor clad Duergar where there to greet them. The Duergar did not stand a chance, the Dwarves ripped through them with light losses. (To this day the Duergar outpost is considered SD territory) A few years later a lighter haired dwarf walked right into the Clan halls walking to the Thrown Room to plump on it sighing. The Clan was to Awe Struck at such an outrageous sight they did nothing. Until he spoke, “I am Dolition ye king!” The Clan went Frantic for each of them believed this Dwarf. He spoke of how he woke up in a Deep Gnomes rock hut revived from death he spoke of how he saw a bolt rip through the main Duergar clerics chest making them through you aside to help he spoke of how he hide me and watched as they lost there prisoner so they used the clerics dead body as a dummy spreading acid on it. The clan was very happy to see him living, with a outpost spreading to Narfell in the near future they would become a large clan.

    Tagnus

    Tagnus has never really truelly 'hated' grey dwarves… actually he never really hated anyone. Tagnus came because he wanted to find adventure and become part of something. He met up with a couple members of SD and learned more and more about them. Later on he joined and now hopes to make more of his lifelong story.


  • Raefel

    Raefel is a dwarf's dwarf. He doesn't like human chicks, and he is suspicious of the folks with long legs. He loves to drink, and he loves to fight, and he HATES gray dwarves. Dwarves raided his home and slaughtered his family while he was young, his father excaping with only Raefel and his family axe.

    His father trained the young boy to fight for good. Raefel's hatred of duergar is reflected in his barbaric fighting style. After hearing of the Hall of the Slaughtered Duergar, he traveled there and became a loyal follower of Rolert and his family. When Rolert and Healea came to Narfell, Raefel followed.

    His goals are to pursue his combat training and to slay any Grays he might meet.


  • Ragrin:Ragrin was one of the first dwarfs that was in the SD. He was born to two loving dwarf parents. They were later killed by Duergar. He immediatly set out to look for some place where he could slay the Duergar, for he hated them. He travelled many hectares, as he then came across the town which the SD were. He quickly joined them in their fighting cause against the Duergar, and was one of those fifty first dwarves mining. After Rolert and Healea left the SD town to start up a new clan, Ragrin was still to drunk, having dranken only 99 bottles of ale on the wall(was actually the ground but to him the wall 🙂 ). After he came back to conciousness, he quickly ran with his "sorts and stubbys" legs all the way to Narfell. And that is why you have the crazy dwarf there.

    HEALEA:Healea came from the Swordcoast,where he was orphened as a very small child and he does not know why. So he decided to live off the land until he was 20. He was captured by bandits,where he was forced for the next year to basically be a slave,by carrying powder kegs. (Hints the bad back) He was later rescued by a group of adventurers. He decided to travel with them for the next ten years. As his friends settled down,And later died.(They were mostly humans) He decided to move to Amn. He built a small cabin in a small little town. For the next five years he started to extremly miss his natural kin,and at the same time he also did not wanted to leave humans for he liked there ways. The April of that year, the caravan for the SD came into town. Rolert strangely enough, was on this caravan. Rolert, not expecting any dwarves to be in this area,befriended him almost instantly. So he invited him to live with his clan. Healea rejected and said"Ah cin nay leave der humans",then rolert quickly informed him that there were tribesman living inside the clan hall,Which were humans. Then Healea decided to come,where he became the best of friends with Rolert. Ten years later,Rolert left to Narfell to visit the place his king so long talked about. A few years later,a messenger from Amn,spoke of Rolert seaking help to build another clan under the kings order.That is why Healea is in Narfell.
