Bodies in the Rawlins...



  • Those walking the frigid paths of the wood of late will notice an upsurge in the number of animal bodies found. This is not the work of hunters, for the meat lies where the creature fell, and in each case, the cause of death can be traced to the complete freezing of the heart. Aside from their frosty end, some of the larger animals, particularly the deer, are found with their flesh carved into the cold geometry of a snowflake, the familiar symbol of the Goddess Auril, written in cold, lifeless flesh.
