Sill Smith

  • This is the background of Sill Smith.

Growing up in a small town with a roof and food always on the table, with a loving mother and father. The thought of leaving anytime soon never crossed his mind. Sill was well educated and enjoyed the outdoors more then anything. Walking through the woods and sitting around on grassy hill tops listening to nature would be something you could find Sill doing every day.

As years passed by, so did the times. Soon there were rumors of war starting to break out. Sill's parent's knew Sill would have to go off and fight soon. The thought of this wounded his parent's. Month's went by and the rumors of war breaking out started to happen, they started to grow closer and closer to Sill's home town. Sill parant's knew they had to get their son out of there before he would be recurited into the war.

Sill soon found himself with a sack over his shoulder walking through the back woods to avoid being seen by the soldiers. The thought of his parents never lefted his mind. Growing tired, Sill found a nice spot in a field to get a little rest. The sound of birds woke him up with a smile on his face. Opening his eyes he found a bow with a arrow pointed right at his chest. "Get up, nice and slow." said the man with the bow. Raising up to his feet, he saw a man walking up behind him. "He looks tough enough, a little small, but nothing we can't fix." The man with the bow nods back at the man and says "move."

Arriving at a camp, he saw others just like him. Lost and dazed, wondering what the hell was going to happen to them. Being pushed into the group of people standing in a line, Sill was told to shut up and dont move. Moment's later a man with bright gold armor on appeared out of a tent and walked over to the men standing in line. "As of right now, you have no names, noone here likes you, noone cares about you, and you will die sooner or later. If not today, tomorrow, if not then, then sooner or later. You are giving one simple task, and that is to pick up a weapon and fight. Thrust it into another man and move on to the next one. That is your job now." Walking back to his tent, he stops and yells back, "by the way, your job starts tomorrow."

After months of fighting, the scars of war started to appear on Sill. He knew that he wouldn't last much longer, so he started to plan a way to escape. The next day on the battlefield running at the enemy Sill fell down and played dead. After the battle was over, he walked for days until making it to a port and sneaking on one of the merchant ships. Working as one of the crew on the ship, they finally made it to another port. Getting off to ship to unload the crates. Sill managed to sneak away and make his home in a small town called norwick.

After three years of living in norwick, and traveling around narfell. Sill met someone passing by saying they came from the same place Sill came from. Asking about the his old home Sill found out that they were no longer at war. Hearing this Sill left a week later to return back to his homeland. Returning back to his town, Sill found out that his house was no longer there. Asking around the town, he found out that the house was burned down with the couple in it while they were asleep. Hearing this, Sill turned around and walked down the dirt road. Sill walked for days and days until he fainted while approching a town. Sill awoke in a bed to where he found out he had sleeped for days. Finding out he had been taking in by a church and taking care of by monks. He decided it was time for a change, a new way of life.

Learning the way of a monk, his master ask to speak with him one day. "You have learned everything of becoming a monk, we have taught you many things, but now it is your turn to discover the path of a true monk. You must go back to this place called narfell that you have told me about and start a new life there as a monk, helping anyone that is in need of help. Your god will watch over you keeping you safe. Now go Sill Smith, your new life awaits." Leaving the church and returning back to narfell, he found out he had been gone for two years. Everything that he knew before has changed, his friends that he once knew have even changed, growing stronger and some not even remembering him. Sill knows the path that awaits him will not be easy, but he knows he is not alone in this path.
