A lonely wolf

  • Kell the wolf who has ever been a playful playmate to all the children as well as a fluffy fuzzy pillow for them during Maya's Story time can be seen a little deflated recently wandering by the south fires often whining as she peers into the rawlins. She still happily plays with the children, but parents are quick to note that the man who would watch over her is no where to be seen now adays. If aproached by millita who do not know her companion Cike holds Norwick papers she simply runs from them ever watchful of possible ranged attacks and attempts to do her harm when running her out of town. Her cries can be heard at night as she stands just outside the tree line of the Rawlins.

Kell makes her rounds and continues to play happily with the children with an eye to the south stopping to smell the air every now and again.

  • Kell plods into town obviously weak and looking little more then a brown mass of leaves and twigs. She is covered from head to tail in dirt and to the keen eye dried blood and cuts underly the dirt and mud. It is also obvious that she has not eaten for a while and struggles with each step. The children hesitate to call her name. Within her mouth she carries a bloodied cloak, it too as dirt encrusted as she tho she guards it viciously letting no one near her prize. She drops down to rest a moment near the well and sniffs the cloak constantly stoping only to lick at a few choice spots. Her ragged breath regained she rises to her feet and plods through the north entrance heading to Jiyyd.

  • Drelan who has also been seen around Norwick now also can be seen eyeing the wolf wondering where his friend has disappeared to.

  • Sil, following the lonely wolf from Jiyyd through the use of haste spells, finally runs out of magic. However, she still tries to follow Kell into the woods to look for Cike who has been missing for so long.

  • Kell bursts into Norwick obviously winded and tired, as if running for her life. She stops to catch her breath a moment before frantically sniffing the ground ignoring the children's calls to play. She circles the Well warily then makes her way to the crypts before turning back then south. She paws the south gate and waits for the nice guards or an adventurer to open the gate for her before she plods out sniffing along the tree line of the forest. She howls and waits for a reply. She waits, her tail begins to slump lower and lower with each heartbeat until she lowers her head and begins to sniff the ground again. She dashes off into the woods sniffing at every tree until she dissapears from sight.

  • As Sûldîn frequently rests by Vino´s fire he quickly realizes that the wolves´compannion is missing.

mutters to himself e> I will start to look for tracks of that man, maybe Eluriel knows about him… Cike wasn´t it? Yes, Cike...
smiles to Kell as he passes the south gate to deer hunt in the Rawlinswood, making a personal note to save some meat for the once merry wolf

  • Belma'r pets the wolf saying such things as
    Good doggie
scratching his neck and rubbing his bellie. Completly oblivious, of course, that the wolf is sad in any way shape or form, or that it is a wolf and not a dog for that matter.

  • Kell looks up at the Petite Elf Girl and yips and barks her reply.

<wolf>"Miss Cike. Want Cike. No smell Cike. Ohh sleeve! she drools a bit watching her sleeves then rests her head down on her paws again and looks south. Want Cike."

She whimpers a little bit then returns to her Routine: ploding off to Jiyyd sniffing there before returning to Norwick to play with the children and watch the southern gate.</wolf>

  • A fairly tanned, and very petite elf girl with flowers constantly tumbling from her hair and a wolf of her own following at her heels stops and studies the sad looking wolf for a bit before bouncing up and asking in wolf "What is making wolf sad? Elf does not like to see sad wolf things. Can elf help wolf thing be happy wolf thing like wolf is happy wolf thing? Even though wolf is silly wolf sometimes, elf is happier when wolf is silly wolf than when wolf is sad wolf. Yes yes yes."
Nodding for emphasis she sheds flowers all down her back.

  • Kell does not even have the will to look at Eluriel's sleeve. … ok well she does, she's Kell. But she just rests her head down on her paws still down trodden. Ok Ok she drools too but thats it. She makes no effort to chomp down on those perfect perfectly sewn dry wavy cloth of Eluriel's sleeve. Her eyes flit between the southern gate and Eluriel's sleeves.

  • A tall, blue-haired female elf is often near the friendly wolf; silently watching over her and standing ready to put herself between Kell and any who threaten her. On the occasions that Eluriel is aware of Kell being off on her wolfy hunts of the sparse remaining goblins of the Northwest Rawlins, the wolf has a friend nearby who is ready to aid if needed. When the wolf whimpers in her sleep, a slim quiver of softly vibrating arrows is set down near Kell in the hope that the scent they bear will offer some measure of comfort.
